MICHIKO'S POV
After telling Tsunade how the mission went, I sat there for the scolding on how I went against her orders and acted without authorization.

"I specifically told you not to get involved, Michiko!"

"I saw an opportunity and I took it!" I defended.

"What if he killed you?!"

"He didn't have the chance. If I see him again, I will attack him."

"No you won't."

"I will, Tsunade. I mean that."

"Michiko, we are researching him! Yes, he may be a threat. But, if we can get to him, he could be an ally."

"I don't care."

There was a knock at the door, so we both turned to it.

"Come in."

Kakashi walked in and he must've sensed then tension because he looked nervous.

"You summoned me, Lady Tsunade?"

"Yes, take Michiko and explain the Sasuke situation to her. She tried to kill him."

"Of course, Lady Tsunade."

"Well, I sure learned my lesson." I sarcastically said.

Kakashi looked at me, so I got up and left with him.

"Would you like dango?" He offered.

"Sure."

He bought some dango for me and we sat down, then he explained how Sasuke seemed like a threat but they feel that with the right approach, we can convince him to be an ally. Especially since he killed Orochimaru.

"So how are you?" He asked.

"I'm good." I blushed.

As we talked, I couldn't help but remember that as a child, I had the biggest crush on Kakashi. When I began training with him, I'd push myself so that I'd impress him and I was even excited to be on his squad. I smiled as he talked and realized that I'd always have a small crush on him, but I was glad that we have a great friendship.

"I still can't believe Naruto and Sakura still haven't seen under your mask." I giggled as he ate.

"They've just never paid attention when I eat." He chuckled before wiping his mouth.

"So, does the fact that I've seen under your mask make me special?" I smirked.

"Pretty much. Not just anyone is one of the strongest kuniochi that I have endless respect for."

"Oh, stop." I shyly blushed.

"I'm serious." He smiled.

"How so?"

"I've always known you were special from the first time I met you. I watched you grow up into the breathtaking young woman that you are and even into the elite shinobi you've become."

I looked down and blushed since any compliment from him meant the world.

"Why are you blushing?" He chuckled.

"It's just... I've had a crush on you since I was little and hearing such words of praise from you means a lot."

KAKASHI'S POV
"Y-You had a crush on me?" I blushed.

She shyly nodded and I couldn't help but feel... Happy. I've seen the way guys look at her and just like Sasuke, I've always felt the urge to protect her. I felt like an idiot though because all I could do in response was stare at her and blush.

"Don't worry, it's just like a schoolgirl crush. It won't distract me." She insisted with a nervous laugh.

"Well I'm glad you felt comfortable enough to tell me. In all honesty, if it weren't for the age difference, I would've probably married you by now."

"Thank you." She laughed.

'Sasuke is going to kill me for this.' I nervously thought, knowing how he is when it comes to Michiko.

"Well, I'm glad we had this talk." She smiled.

"Me too. So, are you going to refrain from attacking Sasuke?"

"No promises. Forgiving him will take a lot and I was over it, but when I sensed him, then saw him... I had this overwhelming feeling to just attack him. I can't promise not to do it again since that feeling basically took over me."

"I understand. But, try to avoid being irrational."

"I'll try."

"Good. Come on, I'll take you home."

"What a gentleman."

I walked her home and on my way back to my own house, I couldn't help but think about how Sasuke would've reacted to our conversation. I remember that once on a mission, a guy was flirting with Michiko and I noticed Sasuke glaring. When I asked him why he was upset, he said that he would tear the guy apart for simply looking at Michiko. He even hates when her fanboys go crazy, so I knew he wouldn't appreciate me telling her that I would've married her.
