I leave you to the mercy
Of red hot shoes, of crows
That will peck out your eyes,
Of poverty
And gently starving to death
I leave you to the mercy
Of a barrel of nails, a millstone
A pyre fit for a sorcerer, your house
Burning down around your ears
Or if you have a preference
I can drown you alive instead.
I leave you to the mercy
Of a pitiful world, a world without
Forgiveness. No, I will not forgive
My blood, my sisters, my mother
I will not forgive you, no
I will never forgive.

(A/N: The revenge on the evildoers in fairytales feels right. I think everyone gets a kick out of seeing people who have done terrible things get their comeuppance. And yet so many of them are so very... brutal. Which made me wonder what that looks like from the hero's/heroine's perspective...)
