A/N: Hua Mulan was a real historical person. Her ending wasn't nearly as happy as in the Disney movie - the emperor decided he wanted to make her a concubine and so she killed herself. But what I love is that one of the main records of her existence is an incredible poem. So this is mine - just a little tribute to a woman who I deeply admire.
