Chapter 19: date night

"Then you need to put an effort into how you look for this!!"

"But its just a movie!" I say in my defense.

"Just a movie? Are you kidding me!? A movie is the best kind of first date!"

"But we practically live together, whats the point of looking extra good?" I ask.

"Cause its a DATE!?" He yells.

"Fiiinnneee bedazzle me." I say dramatically.

He smiles evilly before getting to work.

Now here we are an hour later with my makeup done, thanks to him yelling at me what to put on.

My hair done thanks to Ash straightening it and now all thats left is picking what to wear.

"I dont see why i cant just wear a band shirt and jeans?" I say while laying on my bed looking at all the clothes ash picked as quote 'at least decent'.

Yea how kind.

I mean he dresses like me too, he likes my clothes but he doesn't like them for a date.

He thinks their too casual.

I disagree.

"Try this on." He says as he hands me a black high waisted skirt with a tightish purple crop top that says 'weirdo' on it.

I actually just bought that shirt thinking i could wear it one day when i want to look slutty. Now i see it with this skirt and it looks good, not slutty but cute

Only a little tiny bit of my stomach is showing since my skirt goes higher so it looks expectable.

I must say though, im not a fan of skirts. I prefer to be able to sit comfortable like ive said before.

"I think it works." I say.

"Yup thats the one! Now for shoes..." Ash mumbles.

"No high heels or flats." I say.

I dont care how much i like a person, i will not wear high heels for them.

He looks at me sadly "not like we have a choice, you dont even own a pair."

"Thank the sloth lord for that." I say before fixing my hair a bit.

"I only have converse so those will have to do." I say acting sad even though im grateful i can be at least comfortable in my shoes.

No blisters tonight bebe!

"Okay. I guess that does go with the out fit anyway! Well my work here is done. Your welcome!" He says proudly.

I smile and thank him before putting on the shoes and heading out my bedroom door linking my arm in Ash's.

We skip to the living room and notice Jace isnt here yet.

"Well im ganna go get Jace then were off! See you guys later! Oh and Ash thank you! I owe you big time."

When i reach Jaces door i hear him grumbling about something.

I open the door a crack and see him pacing around while looking at shirts on his bed.

I giggle knowing hes having a hard time finding something to wear.

That so cute.

I quietly go in, making sure he doesn't notice and close the door behind me.

Hes still pacing oblivious to my presence.

I smile at him and just watch for a minute.

Not in a creepy way! Just in a im in love with this idiot kinda way.
