26. Crew Dinner

I'm in the middle of curling my hair because the entire tour crew are going out for dinner. I've already done my makeup and after doing my hair I will get dressed and be ready to go.

My phone rings so I finish curling the current strand of hair before putting down the curling iron. I run out of the bathroom and towards the bedside table where my phone is.

I answer the phone before it finishes ringing. It's a FaceTime call from Harry.

"Styles, what a nice surprise." I say when his head pops up on my screen. He's lying in bed. I can see his face and the beginning of his swallow tattoos because the rest is covered by the white bed sheet.

"You look great, is there a concert tonight I thought Ed said the next one is in tomorrow and then Denver on Wednesday."

"No tour tonight. I'm getting ready to go out for dinner."

Harry nods. "Do you have a date?"

"Yeah, with the entire tour crew."

He laughs. "Oh, a dinner with the crew. That sounds nice. Where are you going?"

I shrug. "That's a good question. I'm not too sure but Ed chose it so I'm sure it'll be great."

"I'd hate to burst your bubble but it won't be sushi."

I smile. "What a shame." I take my phone and walk into the bathroom. "I'm putting you down here so I can continue doing my hair whilst we talk. You said yesterday that you had some funny stories to tell me."

"Yeah, I do. Would you like to hear about Niall hurting himself once again, the broken cup and saucer or the dress ups?"

They all sound pretty funny. But I'm most curious about the broken plates. "What about the cup and saucer?"

"So we're in Liam's hotel room right, and I'm sitting down reading the newspaper. Mind you, all this is getting filmed for our movie."

"Wait, your movie?" They're making a movie? That's so cool.

"Yeah, I thought you might have heard about it. It's based on our lives on tour. Anyway, Liam is complaining about wanting tea but there's not kettle in the room so Louis says he knows how to make great use of the cup and saucer."

"Oh no, this can't be good."

Harry nods his head. "Yep, you're right. Louis suggests balancing the saucer on his head. Liam disagreed with it at first but then he gave in and held the saucer on Louis' head then put the cup on top. He gently let go and it was balancing. Louis then told him to take off the cup and saucer so as Liam went to grab it, Louis moved on purpose and the glass fell to the ground and smashed into pieces."

I'm laughing just imaging them doing it. "Liam would have had a mini heart attack."

"He did. They looked at me and were laughing and of course I shook my head at them and went back to reading my paper but after a minute or so I couldn't contain my laughter. I kept imagining Liam's face inside my head and it made me laugh the more I thought of it."

"Did they get into trouble for breaking the cup and saucer?"

"Louis slipped the house keeping lady $100 and asked her to replace them both."

Smart thing to do because management would probably blow it way out of proportion even though they will most likely find out considering it was caught on camera for their movie.

"I'm going to tell you the story about the dress ups now."

"Go ahead" I say to him as I start to curl the back of my hair. The back is is always harder to perfect than than the front.
