Not even a word
At being said
But a lighthearted smile
We always do smile
We always do follow
Just as muddy eyes
And toffee lies
Without a word
Without being heard
Even if the whole spirit had changed.
They have changed
So we call them spirits
With their ocean eyes,
Always following them.
Just because of what we know
For our spirits are low.
Happy, happy, bring in fairy lights, but no more fights.
We have always liked people, at least we love the world.
At least we love the world.
At least we love the world.
At least we love smiling down on people.
And at least we love the world.
