but the color isn't right in Prince's mind. even after the stars and lights taint not a single sky, but instead are part of it, not below it. just because. just because.

though it's perfect, those the colors are bright. it merely an answer... not a light. never because of what he had done, but just because of his faith.

Prince is always proud, he is always a lightyear and a half from decay. though he rides the sky like a king, though he loves everything he sees. he sees!

only enough to scatter stardust, like milk, like light. in the sky, but not over the city, but over the hills where ruby red moonbugs play.

it's always enough, just enough. but lilac isn't enough. a daisy would make the sky start to turn, but not enough to wake her. you are, we are, breathe.
