*3 months later*
Yuuki sighed quietly as she sat at the table, her head propped up in her hand as she stared at the computer screen through her sunglasses. She had turned on some music, of course she had turned it really low in order to keep the migraine to a minimum.
The sound of the door opening and closing grabbed her attention. She looked up towards the entrance of the apartment, sending a small smile towards Dabi. He sent one back before walking into the kitchen.
"Working?" He questioned as he grabbed a cup from the cabinet.
"Mhm," Yuuki hummed the response as she watched the numbers on the screen rise more and more.
"Could it have waited for your migraine to go away?" He asked as he filled the glass up with water.
Yuuki turned her head to look at him, slightly surprised, "How did you know?" She asked quietly, "And the answer is no,"
"Well, you don't really hide it," Dabi informed, "You've got all the lights off, music insanely low, you have prescribed pain killers on the counter, a glass of water next to that, and you're looking at your computer with sunglasses on. No need to mention the pajamas though," He shrugged his shoulders.
Yuuki rolled her eyes at his words, "Spoken like an FBI agent," She grunted, turning around to look at the screen.
"What?"
"I watched some American shows. Criminal Minds to be exact. Now, shut up. My head hurts," Yuuki muttered almost angrily.
With a chuckle, Dabi shook his head and walked over, pressing a quick kiss to Yuuki's head, "I'll be in the room," He informed before vanishing.
"Kay,"
A few hours later, Yuuki turned off the computer, having dealt with emails, bills, money transfers, and everything else. She sighed quietly and ran a hand through her hair, shutting the computer lid and taking off the glasses.
Yuuki stood up, leaving the computer alone and trotted towards the room. Almost as soon as the door opened, Dabi had shut the TV off. Yuuki tilted her head slightly and spoke.
"You can still watch that you know," She mumbled, "Just because I have a migraine doesn't mean you're restricted from watching TV," She stated.
Dabi shook his head, "I only turned it off because nothing good is on," He stated.
Yuuki rolled her eyes and crawled onto the bed next to Dabi, "I'm touched," Yuuki muttered, giving him a sardonic smile.
Dabi chuckled quietly and wrapped an arm around Yuuki as she curled into his side, almost like a cat. The two of them laid in silence for a while, until Yuuki got an idea.
"We should paint the roof," She stated.
"How do plan on doing that?" Dabi questioned, glancing at Yuuki.
"We'll get artists to do it. They'll figure it out. We could have them paint like a-a galaxy or something on the roof so that whenever the two of us are laying down we can look up at it," Yuuki explained.
A smile grew on Dabi's lips as he looked at her, "That sounds like plan," He paused, "But, lets wait til we get a bigger place to do that,"
Yuuki nodded her head and wrapped her arms around him, looking towards the wall. Dabi's fingers drew small patterns along her spine while Yuuki fingered the fabric of his shirt, listening to his steady heartbeat.
"You never talk about your family," Dabi suddenly stated, "I've never met them,"
Yuuki looked up at him, "You..want to meet them?" She questioned, "They're...awful people,"
"No I don't want to meet them," Dabi responded, "I just want to know why you hate them so much, but you still provide for them,"
"Its...complicated," Yuuki declared, "I'll tell you, but not today," She informed, giving his chest a pat.
Dabi only nodded his head to her words. Instead of his hand returning to where it had been on her back, it moved to her head. Yuuki gave him a confused look at he wedged his fingers in between her brown hair and grabbed a hold of the knot that kept her mask in place.
"What are you doing," Yuuki asked as be fiddled with it.
"Trying to untie this damn thing," Dabi boldly stated, successfully managing to get the first knot out.
Yuuki sighed quietly and before she could reach up to untie it, Dabi hook his finger through the last knot and pulled at it. With his other hand, Dabi reached upwards to grab a hold of the mask and pulled it away from her face.
"Hey," Yuuki mumbled, reaching forward to grab it, only to have Dabi toss it onto the floor.
"I want to play a game," He smiled softly.
"What kind of game?" Yuuki mumbled quietly.
"We've played it before," He replied, "We had to stop though,"
Yuuki paused for a moment, tilting her head as she racked her brain. She doesn't actually remember playing any games with Dabi. Maybe she was drunk when they played that game.
"I don't remember," Yuuki admitted with a shrug.
Dabi smiled softly and moved so that he was hovering over her body, pinning her to the bed by grabbing her hands in his own and pressing them into the mattress, "Allow me to refresh your memory then," He stated with a small grin.
A small blush gathered onto her cheeks as Yuuki nodded her head, "Fine," She muttered.
