"Why do you only keep fifty dollars and give the rest to your family? You're the one who works for it,"

The question met her ears and she frowned slightly, uncertain of whether or not she would want to answer the simple question or not. Yuuki looked at him. His eyes were glued onto her, watching her reactions.

Sighing, Yuuki leaned back against the couch and spoke, "Because I want them to actually need me for something," Yuuki hesitated to speak at first, but it certainly peeked Dabi's interest as he turned to look at her.

"What do you mean?" He asked, making Yuuki frown.

"You've already asked your question, Dabi," She stated, flicking his forehead.

"Fuck the game," He shrugged his shoulders, "Answer the question," Dabi demanded.

Yuuki looked at Dabi for a moment. Why is he so curious about that? She thought to herself.

"Why?" She questioned.

Dabi frowned slightly, "Just answer the damn question," He ordered.

"Only after you answer one of mine," Yuuki retorted, folding her arms over her chest. Dabi rolled his eyes but nodded his head, waiting for her to ask her question.

"Where did you go to school?" Yuuki asked.

Dabi paused for a moment, "Uh, I don't remember," He informed, "Now answer my question,"

Yuuki frowned slightly and nodded her head, "Fine. Ever since my parents found out I'm quirkless they abused me," Yuuki informed, "Told me I was worthless, useless, and a quirkless runt. They started neglecting me after I turned eight because by then I learned how to take care of my myself. When I was fifteen I started hacking into stuff and stealing money from banks without actually being there. When I was eighteen I moved to this shit hole and started giving my family money so they can say that I'm worth something,"

Dabi seemed to be shocked by her answer, but heaved out a quiet sigh and laid back against the couch. After a few minutes Dabi finally spoke.

"That doesn't make sense,"

Yuuki looked at Dabi, cocking a brow, "How does it not make sense?" She asked, slightly annoyed by him.

"They treat you like shit all your life, and in return for that you give them money. You didn't even think that maybe you'd be happier if you'd cut them from your life?" Dabi looked at Yuuki, his blue eyes scanning her features, "Why do you do that?"

"Why do you care so much?" Yuuki retorted.

Dabi's eyes widened and he immediately shot her a sharp glare, a scoff leaving his lips as he did so, "You're delusional," He snapped, "I don't care in the slightest," He informed.

Yuuki smirked slightly, "Sure," She stated with a grin on her lips, "Anyways, do you want some uh, tea?" She asked, changing the topic.

"No, I should actually be going now," Dabi informed, "I'll see you later though,"

Yuuki couldn't help but frown slightly at his words of departure, "Shame," She stated, "Well, I guess I'll see you in a few hours," Yuuki finished, standing to her feet alongside Dabi.

Once he was gone, Yuuki released a small sigh and walked back over to her couch, sitting down on top of it and running a hand through her hair. She peeked out the window, seeing the bright sun shining through the clouds and melting the snow.

Yuuki released a small sigh as she finished pulling on the jacket that Dabi had given her. It was slightly torn at the sleeves and the bottom of the jacket, but it was warm and comfortable, so she didn't mind.

The sound of the door opening alerted the brunette and she immediately looked up before hearing a familiar voice.

"You almost ready?" Dabi called from the living room.

Yuuki walked out of her room and into the living room, folding her arms over her chest as she sent him a slight glare, "Did you really just walk in?" She asked rhetorically.

"Yeah," Dabi replied flatly, making Yuuki scowl in annoyance as she walked into the bathroom, reappering with her mouth guard on.

"What's up with that cross?" Dabi asked, giving a pointed glare towards the golden cross that dangled off the mouth guard.

"It's just a fun thing to have on," Yuuki informed, "Let's go," She stated.

As they walked, Dabi looked at her for a good moment before speaking, "That jacket suits you," He informed.

Yuuki tilted her head and looked up at him, "Really?" She asked, feeling a bit happy over this newfound fact.

"Yeah," Was all Dabi said.

The walk was silent..but it was a comfortable silence, so Yuuki didn't really mind. A sudden thought made Yuuki stiffen up and she nervously looked at Dabi.

"Are you guys going to kill me after this? You will have no use for me, and I have an idea on where your hideout is," Yuuki mumbled.

Dabi simply shook his head, "No, we'll need you in the future," He replied, glancing down towards the smaller female, "Stop stressing,"

Yuuki could only nod her head to his words and shoved her hands into her pockets, carrying on walking. Dabi asked a question that made her body tense up completely.

"Do you have Depression?" He asked a bit bluntly.

Yuuki shifted nervously and looked towards Dabi and quickly nodded her head, "Yeah..how did you know?" She questioned him.

Dabi shrugged his shoulders and the topic was dropped.
