"T-take me somewhere?!" Yuuki squeaked out, her eyes round with panic, "W-Where? A-Are you a hero- AH!"

Her panicked ranting was cut short as he whirled around, his hands spitting out striking blue flames that made her scramble back in fear. She stared up at him as he glared down at her.

"Would you shut your mouth, brat?" He snapped angrily, "..and no, I'm not a hero,"

Yuuki shrank underneath his glare and slowly stood up. If he wasn't a hero then he was either a civilian with bad intentions, a civilian trying to help her, or a villain. Only one out of those three options were correct, and the chances of her going home completely unharmed was slim to none.

"W-who are you?" Yuuki asked, staying glued to her spot.

The male sighed, glancing back at her with a cold look and spoke, "Dabi," He stated, "Now come on, we don't have much time,"

Dabi? Yuuki knew of the name, but she couldn't remember where she had heard the name. Yuuki furrowed her brows as she thought about it. Yuuki heard a grunt from Dabi's lips and he snatched a hold of her wrist, jerking her forwards.

Yuuki yelped out in pain, trying to tug her arm from his grasp. "H-Hey! Let me go! Th- EEP!"

Yuuki tripped. Yuuki gasped out as she prepared for the impact, surprised when it never came around. Opening her eyes, which she didn't realized she had squeezed shut, Yuuki could see the ground behind her. Yuuki felt the grasp on her wrist had gotten tremendously stronger, making pain flare in her arm.

"You still want me to let you go?" A teasing tone was in Dabi's voice as he looked down at Yuuki.

"K-Kind of b-"

The impact of the ground she had been waiting for came faster than she thought. Yuuki squeaked out as she slammed into the snow clad ground. A low groan left her lips as she pushed herself up, sitting on her knees. She turned her head to look at Dabi, who had a rather plain look on his face.

"Th-that was mean," Yuuki stated.

Dabi simply shrugged before looking at her closely. Holding his hand out, Yuuki grabbed a hold of it and pulled herself up. She made sure to take a good step back, feeling insecure as she trembled, quite possibly from the cold.

"Do you have a phone on you?" He asked a bit impatiently.

Nodding her head, Yuuki pulled it out, which he quickly grabbed. He turned it on before turning the screen to her, revealing the lock screen. Yuuki quickly tapped her password onto the screen, and once it was unlocked Dabi searched the screen for a moment before taping something.

After a couple of minutes he finally raised the phone to his ear, quickly turning his back to the street as a cop car pulled up. Yuuki greeted the male with a bright smile and spoke.

"H-Hi sir," She smiled.

"Hey, I have a question for you two," He stated. Yuuki glanced at Dabi, watching him visibly tense up, but remained silent, "There was a murder back down the street, and I was wondering if you two saw or heard anything?"

Yuuki felt her heart slam to a harsh stop in her chest but she shook her head, "N-No sir," Yuuki stated.

"What about you, boy?" The officer asked, eyeing Dabi suspiciously.

Just as Dabi went to speaker, Yuuki quickly spoke the first thing that came to her mind, "He's a deaf, and a mute," She quickly informed, her eyes round.

"Oh, so then I guess its pointless to ask him. Well I'm sorry to bother you two, I best he on my way," And with those finally words, he was gone.

Dabi relaxed before speaking into the phone, "I got her, now come get us. It's fucking cold and she looks like she's about to get frostbite,"

There was a bit of silence before a look of obvious annoyance crossed his face, "Just me us at that fucking tea Café!" He snapped, hanging up quickly.

Before Yuuki could grab her phone, Dabi slammed it into the wall. She made a noise that resembled some kind of pained cry as she watched the screen shatter into millions of pieces.

"M-My phone! Y-You dick!" Yuuki screeched, she went to slam her fist into his chest, only for Dabi to casually wrap his fingers around her wrist.

"I would not do that if I were you," He warned, his blue eyes glaring into Yuuki's brown ones.

Yuuki scowled angrily at him and spoke, "You broke my phone,"

"I had to," Dabi shrugged and began pulling her behind him as he walked, "Couldn't risk the police tracking us," He stated.

"Why are you taking me to that tea Café?" Yuuki questioned.

"Why do you ask so many damn questions?" He retorted, glancing back at her.

Yuuki grinned slightly. This reminded her of a constant conversation she used to have with her old middle school best friend before he head disappeared.

"Touché," She muttered.
