As soon as Yuuki got to the stairs of her apartment, she slipped the sunglasses off and handed them back to Daso, briefly thanking him for the kind gesture before she walked up the staircase.

She had her gaze glued onto the ground, a feeble attempt to keep the light from hitting her eyes. A small frown grew on her lips as she kept up a brisk pace towards her door. The headache pounded in her skull was getting more intense with every passing minute and all she wanted to do was go home and lay down.

A small sigh left her lips as she pulled her keys out from her jacket pocket and fumbled around with them until she found the key to open up her apartment door. Once she was inside, a deep sigh left her lips and she tossed her keys onto the nearest surface. Yuuki turned around, locking the door once more and slipping her jacket off of her shoulders.

"How was it?"

A loud screech left Yuuki's lips as she whipped around, her heart pounding against her chest. Her back was pressed flush again the door as she glanced around the darkened area. Finally her eyes landed on an all to familiar person, and despite the pounding migraine she suffered a bright smile grew on her lips.

She immediately launched herself off the door and wrapped her arms tightly around Dabi's middle, burying her head into his chest as he let out a small chuckle, hugging her back. The two stood in silence, basking in each others embrace.

"You still haven't answered my question, babydoll," Dabi mumbled quietly, running his fingers through her brown hair.

Yuuki simply shook her head, "Fine, I guess," She responded, her voice barely above a whisper, "They said I'm fine, gave me damn pills to shove down my throat," Her voice was bitter, and she refused to meet his gaze.

Dabi released a quiet sigh before pulling away from her, "Well, I guess it's better than having some cancerous thing," He stated.

"True," Yuuki grabbed a hold of his hand and walked into her bedroom, "Now, shut up and cuddle with me," She demanded, kicking off her shoes and crawling onto the large king sized bed.

"Do I have a say?" Dabi muttered in disdain, sitting on the bed and pulling off his black boots.

Yuuki grunted in response, laying on her stomach. Dabi released a quiet sigh and shrugged his jacket off of his shoulders, shifting to where he could lazily toss it onto the floor. Yuuki, having grown impatient, sat up and draped her arms over his shoulder, struggling to pull him up to the bed.

"Calm down, Yuuki. Give me a moment," Dabi grunted slightly as he shifted his position on the bed.

Yuuki didn't say anything else, shifting around as well so that her head was resting against Dabi's chest and her arms wrapped around his chest. Dabi soon started to run his fingers through her hair, sending a soothing feeling through her body.

"I missed you," Yuuki whispered quietly, moving her hand to grab his own.

"I missed you too," Dabi mumbled quietly.

Yuuki grinned slightly and looked up at him, "Unfortunately for you, you get no sex because I have a migraine," She teased, leaning up to press a kiss to his cheek.

Dabi immediately let out an annoyed groan, tossing his head back into the pillows as feign defeat, "Oh, you cockblock," He mumbled quietly.

Yuuki released a laugh, only to release a small whine afterwards as a painful sensation spiked in her head.

Dabi chuckled quietly, "Karma's is a bitch," He murmured.

"Shut up before I kick you out of my apartment," Yuuki muttered.

Dabi chuckled quietly and rolled onto his side, facing her and wrapping his arms around her. Yuuki raised her arms upwards and pressed them against his chest, her fingers dragging along the line where his smooth skin ended, stopping to lightly press against the cold metal staples.

The staples had always intrigued her, mainly because she had the overwhelming urge to somehow make them more straight. He never would tell her how he came to get these scars, and seeing as how whenever he used his quirk with no flinch, it ruled out his own. Then again, he barely showed any pain, especially when he crashed through her former coffee table.

Yuuki glanced up at him, a small smile stretching across her lips seeing that Dabi had fallen asleep. He had moved his arm up to act as a makeshift pillow, and his eyes were closed, making him look a lot less tired. His lips were also slightly parted, quiet snores coming from his mouth.

Yuuki chuckled lightly and slowly shifted her body to where she was eye level with him. Dabi stirred for a second, causing Yuuki to freeze completely, and once he stopped moving, Yuuki rose an arm up, placing it on his head and slowly began to run her fingers through his hair.

He looked more calm than he had been in days, and Yuuki noticed faint dark circles beneath his eyes, despite the scarring. She sighed quietly and pressed a quick kiss to the tip of his nose before moving back down to her original position.

It was good to have him back.
