The feeling of her body smacking onto the cold tiled floor made Yuuki awake with a jerk. Before she had timw to process what fully happened, she felt Dabi's foot catch a hold of her own.

Yuuki's eyes widened as she saw him tumbling down towards the glass coffee table.

"Dabi!" She screeched out, attempting to push the coffee table away from his body.

Yuuki winced at the sound of glass shatter and Dabi released a low groan. Yuuki carefully sat up, brushing some spare shards of glass off of her lap before sweeping some glass under the now shattered coffee table and got up. Yuuki grabbed Dabi by the shoulders and pulled him off the table.

"Are you okay?" She asked quietly, still stunned by the events that took place.

Dabi nodded his head and sat back down on the couch, wincing slightly as he shakily tried to pull some glass from his palm. Yuuki quickly smacked his hand away and spoke.

"Stop," She ordered, "What the hell was that anyways?" She asked, standing to her feet and walking towards the bathroom, returning soon after with a first aid kit in one hand and some bandages and tweezers in her other.

"Nothing," Dabi muttered, his voice rough from sleep.

Scoffing, Yuuki walked over and sat on the couch, forcing Dabi to turn towards her and she immediately grabbed his wrist, pulling it into her lap as she opened the first aid kit. She could feel his eyes trained onto her as she carefully used the tweezers the remove the small shards of glass embedded deep into his palms.

Yuuki was slightly worried about Dabi, as much as she hated to admit it. She had never seen him react to anything like that, and she had caught the look of genuine panic embedded into his eyes before he quickly forced the emotion away. Maybe it was just a dream that struck a nerve.

"Why do you care?" Dabi's voice was as cold as stone as she placed the tweezers done and dug around in the kit for the alcohol doused towelettes.

Yuuki looked up at Dabi, briefly pausing from opening the yellow box. "What do you mean?" She questioned, pulling out a small packet from the box and ripping it open.

"Why do you care about people? Even when they've been complete asses to you," Dabi stated, wincing slightly as Yuuki cleaned the wounds on his hand, "Especially me," He mumbled.

Yuuki kept her eyes glued onto the slightly bleeding hand as she spoke, "Because I know what it feels like to be completely alone," She murmured quietly.

Dabi remained silent as she continued to work on his hand. Yuuki pulled away from his hand once she had completely wrapped it in the bandages. Yuki moved forwards, grabbing Dabi's jacket and moving it off his shoulders. After she had gotten the article of clothing off she examined his arms from any pieces of glass, doctoring the small cuts here and there.

Once she was completely done, Yuuki stood silently to her feet, gathering everything she had used and threw it all away, setting the first aid kit on the counter before returning towards the broken coffee table and sweeping up the glass on the floor into the dust pan.

All while she was walking around, Yuuki was thinking to herself. Wondering why she even bothered to care about people, evil or good. Why she helped her family, why she was just a good person in general. The only crimes she ever committed was hacking into banks and stealing virtual money.

She was so lost in thought she hadn't even heard Dabi walk over, and she didn't notice him until she went to turn around, only to find herself trapped in between his arms and against the counter.

"I-I thought you were asleep," Yuuki stammered out, a small blush gathering on her cheeks as she realized how close they were.

"Not that fast," Dabi replied, looking over her face, "I have another question," He informed.

"What?" She whispered out the question, lowering her head down to stare at the floor.

"When were you going to say something?" Dabi questioned, suddenly grabbing her wrist and turning her arm over.

Her sleeve slid up revealing the number of scars and cuts the decorated her wrist. Yuuki's heart plummeted to the ground as she looked at him, and was slightly stunned at the blazing anger in his blue eyes.

"I..I wasn't," Yuuki replied, trying to tug her arm away.

"So you were going to sit and suffer?" He snapped so suddenly that it made Yuuki flinch.

Yuuki didn't answer him, and only looked down towards her feet, shame hidden in her eyes. She could feel the anger rolling off of his body in waves.

After a moment of her silence, Yuuki squeaked slightly whenever she felt his palm pressing against her cheek, his thumb running along her cheekbone for a moment. Nervously, Yuuki looked up at him. Was he going to break her neck and potentially kill her?

A sharp gasp left Yuuki's lips as he suddenly leaned forward, slamming his lips against her own. A deep blush gathered onto her cheeks as Yuuki hesitantly kissed him back. She felt Dabi's hand move down to her neck and the other rested back against the counter.

After a moment, Dabi pulled away from her and spoke quietly, "Stop hurting yourself, Yuuki," He muttered, looking down at her with a small frown.

"O-Okay,"
