Out of the 41 supreme beings of Nazarick, they say that he is the mightiest warrior. When many anti-heteromorphic guilds banded together to defeat Ains Ooal Gown, Satan requested permission to create a demonic army for his purge of these guilds. After his idea being accepted, he created Nazarick's most powerful fighting force, made of 350,000 demons may they be lesser or greater. That day the Demon War Host was born, with this, Satan led a massive Crusade against the alliance of Guilds. In the span of 2 weeks, the Demon God Satan, leading his seven Demon generals, crushed the opposition.
This event was remembered by all who play the game, the Crusade of the demon warhost an event that lead to the destruction of 20 different guilds by one man. The Demon God Satan that day became known as, God of Destruction. After the crusade, Satan built an extra floor at the bottom of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, his armies rest with his generals as guardians. The Demon warhost slumbers with the living machines, only to be woken during the Tombs times of war.
