I silently shut the door, making sure that it made zero noise. Slowly, I backed away.
He's probably a friend of Mya's, I told myself, he's probably dating Elizabeth... Maybe he just doesn't want Mya to know...?
I shook my head, trying to forget about the whole situation. It probably wasn't a big deal. There was a simple explanation to all of it, most likely.
I fell backwards onto my bed and exhaled deeply. Rolling over, I turned out my bedside lamp and switched on my TV. I turned it down, not wanting my neighbors to realize what I was watching and slipped into my bed like a snake.
...
A commotion coming from Elizabeth's side of the building snapped me out of my warm bed/Desperate Housewives coma. I reached for my remote and hushed the housewives with a push of a button.
I could here the lovers' quarrel more clearly now. It wasn't very loud and I was probably one of the few people that could hear it. I'm sure Carl, Elizabeth's neighbor, would've been quite aware of the happenings though.
A cuss flew through the walls and an insult could be made out. It sounded like I was still watching TV due to the similarity of the "conversations".
I heard the slight slamming of a door, then the sound of footsteps outside my door. As soon as they passed I could hear the man entering Mya's apartment.
Cautiously, I got out of my bed, despite my body's yearning for the warmth. I poked my ear out of the door.
Mya's apartment was wide open when I heard her ask, "What was that noise?"
"Oh there was some fight at Elizabeth's house, I heard it when I walked back to your place."
"It didn't sound very loud."
I could almost see him become nervous when he said, "It was super loud."

Mya's P.O.V
I looked down at my phone as Jem pulled my car to a stop at the red light. I lurched forward for a moment, reading Adam's text. He asked me if I was doing anything that day. I replied by telling him that I was dropping a friend off at the airport.
It was semi-true. I wasn't dropping him off, he was dropping himself off. I didn't think I was fit to drive, having sat awake all night. Jem was technically a friend, so that part was true.
For some reason I couldn't bring myself to telling him about my engagement to Jem. I believe I thought it may have ruined our friendship, which was an odd thing to think. But really I couldn't tell what exactly my reasoning was at the time, all I knew was that I didn't want to mention it.
"We're here." Jem pulled to a stop in the airport parking lot. He looked over at me. I could feel my eyes filling with the familiar salty fluid.
"I hope the next two months go by fast," I spewed almost unintellgibly. Jem threw his arms around me.
"I hope so too," Jem whispered into my ear. His arms tightened around me. "We'll have to hold on until then though." As he pulled away I saw a small smile had made it's way onto his lips, revealing his perfect, white teeth.
I could feel a single tear trailing down my frozen cheek. I tried to smile back at him but failed.
"Don't worry, it'll be here before we know it. Just two more months Mya." I swallowed. It was weird feeling, knowing that you'd be someone's wife in a matter of a couple months.
I knew that the rest of the world thought that two months between the proposal and the wedding was short, but Jem had planned this six months in advance. He knew I'd say yes so he made arrangements with the chapel and other wedding necessities.
"I love you," I whispered.
"I love you too." Jem pecked a kiss on my lips before hopping out of the car. I watched him walk towards the airport as snowflakes drifted down onto his shoulders and head.
I didn't move to the driver's side. Instead I sat there, my eyes set on him, my hands twiddling with my new ring.
Sharon P.O.V (U mad brah?)
After sending Adam the invite, I flipped open my closet. I thumbed through it's contents in hopes for a sexy dress. It wasn't hard to find one considering the vastness of my options.
I laid the short black dress out onto my bed and smoothed it out before making my way to the shower.

I slipped into the dress and it's matching ripped tights, then squeezed my feet into my stilettos.
Next was my makeup. I admired myself in the foggy mirror before applying the eyeliner and mascara. I pulled my long blonde hair into a high ponytail and admired my work.
It wasn't long before the first knocks came, I opened it to find my girlfriends. None looked as sexy as me though.
I turned on my stereo system, the booming told me that the volume was high enough. The girls got ready as I went to get the drinks. I immediately sensed the boozes' present as I pulled open the cupboard.
Before I knew it, my place was packed. Gleeful shouts filled the room. I had walked into the living room to see James enter my apartment. I looked over to my friends to see Layla lock her eyes on Adam in shock.
