The next morning, Tyler sits on the edge of his bed, little legs swinging back and forth. He stares at his phone screen, still contemplating whether it's too early to text Josh or not. Last night, he argued with himself until the point of exhaustion and passed out before the clock even struck ten. Now, he types out several messages but deletes them all in frustration.

Hey! It's Tyler from the restaurant.

No, too formal. Delete.

Hi! This is Tyler!

Too excited. Delete.

Hey it's Tyler (:

Too casual. Delete.

What's up? This is Tyler!

What's up? Seriously? Delete.

Hey this is Tyler (: Hope you still remember me!

Whatever, good enough. Send.

"Crap!" Tyler squeaks, tossing his phone on the bed.

With his heart still racing, he slides out of bed and fumbles through his closet. He's not sure what he wants to wear. What color? Pants? Pajamas? There's too many choices! Tyler decides to just stay in his underwear, but he also slips on blue fuzzy socks.

Buzz, buzz.

Tyler squeals and jumps on his bed, sending the phone flying and landing on the floor with a crash! He winces, slowly picking up the device and checking for any cracks. When he finds none, he quickly unlocks his phone and reads Josh's message.

J: Of course! How could I forget? (;

Tyler gasps, lips curling into a huge smile. What is that supposed to mean? Is Josh trying to flirt with him? Oh gosh, what should he say back?

T: I'm easy to forget

He sends the message, not realizing how depressing it sounds until moments after. Oh well, too late now. And it's true, even his date yesterday forgot about him. Or maybe he just didn't care. Who knows?

J: You? No way! Who could forget such a pretty face?

Tyler is definitely blushing now. He rolls onto his tummy, kicking his feet back and forth in the air. Josh probably doesn't even realize what he's doing, making Tyler all giddy and giggly.

T: Well I couldn't forget you either! You're pretty too!

Crap, Tyler, what if he doesn't want to be called pretty!?

T: I mean you know like um pretty cute or pretty handsome or uh whatever you like

Great, now he sounds dumb!

J: I like whatever you call me <3
