Chapter 25

The pair was in the middle of getting it on when a knock came from the door.

Addison stopped but April wasn't this easy to convince.

Another knock came and the redhead groaned in disapproval.

"We have to answer." Addison was about to get up when her girlfriend captured her lips.

"No." She breathed in between kisses. April was too horny to stop right now.

For her bad, all her sisters were just as stubborn as she was.

Without another knock the door opened, her siblings bursting in.
"DIDN'T YOU HEAR MY KNOCKING?" Alice complained but all of them stopped in front of the bed.

April jumped up as fast as she could, at least she tried with her legs still entwined with her girlfriends. She landed beside Addison, covering them both with the blanket.

"Im sorry!" Kimmie giggled, leaning onto her sister in support before she would break down from amusement.

Libby wasn't one bit better. She already turned red. "Great, you cockblocked our sister!" She snorted.

"What do you guys want?? The door was closed for a reason!!" April grunted frustraded.

Addison couldn't hide a smirk as well and took her hand.

"I told you!" Libby half whispered.

"Mom and Dad want to celebrate with you tonight....in a few minutes actually..." Kimmie glanced at her phone to get the time. "Not even enough for a quickie."

All three suppressed their laugh.

"Wear something nice!" Libby winked at her before she pushed them all out, closing the door.

Another groan came from April as she let herself fall on the bed. "I hate them."

Addison leaned over her for a tender kiss. "Come on we gotta dress up."

Both women decided to wear a dress for the dinner.

April couldn't help but stare at her girlfriend a lot during their family time. Her long black dress fitted her perfectly and her bare back was enough to leave the doctor on the edge.

Dinner was better than expected, less embarrassing than the encounter with her sisters earlier.

Its the last evening with her family tonight. Tomorrow she and Addison would be back in Seattle, in their normal lifes. Without any interruption of her sisters, or the mockery of her parents. Not that she didn't like it. She loved it actually.

She loved all of her family and couldn't imagine her birthday without any of them. Its been too long since her sisters and she had a party night out and time for themselves. The fact that Arizona and Callie were with them as well this weekend only made it tons better.

April looked up at her family, watching them eat and enjoy each others company. A big smile spread over her lips.

"You okay?" Addison leaned over, placing her head on her shoulder.

The redhead nodded and stroke her cheek. She was glowing with happiness.

"Hey its our song!" Alice jumped up and turned the radio louder.

It was the song her mother used to play on the piano when they were younger.

"Can I have this dance?" April got up, offering her hand to Addison, who nodded bright.

"Of course." She followed her a few feet away into the grass.

They stood close to each other before April started to lead them to the song.

"Happy birthday, my love." Addison looked right into her eyes, seeing how happy she was.

"I think for the first time...I got everything I ever wished for." April smiled back at her.

They shared a moment of silence before Addison cleared her throat. "I told my mother about you."

"What?" She couldn't hide the surprised tone in her voice. "When?"

"I think it was about saturday night? When you got pretty drunk on your own birthday party." Addison chuckled. "Arizona encouraged me."

"How did she react?"

"Better than I thought. She was in denial at first but now she wants to meet you."

Aprils face lightened up. "Really?"

Addison nodded. "Only if you're okay with that?"

"Of course!!" She pulled her in for a kiss. "I want to know all of you. Your bad and good sides, your family, your friends, everything. Only with you."

Addison was the one to lean in for a kiss this time. "Only with you."
