Chapter1
High School (freshmen year)
'Carter! Wait up!' I hollered earning some stares. I heard him chuckle. He turned around smiling, staring at me and shaking his head.
'Janess' he said when I stopped in front of him. He was smiling so wide making those cute dimples I love appear on both of his cheeks. I smiled back at him, Carter is my best friend. He has brown hair and the most unusual grey eyes with blue flecks. I know hot! But the only thing stopping him is...... he is fat. Everyone in school laughs at him except me. I love him, because looks don't matter at all for me. Never does and never will matter to me. I blushed when I still saw him staring. I...... have a little okay HUGE crush on him! But I can't tell him, I am just afraid, it's hard to admit, for me at least.
'So Jan, What up?' he asked, he might be fat but he is cool to hang out with. Carter is really rich I am just normal you know rich not rich, rich. He is really rich! I looked up to see him smiling and staring at me, I blushed, beet red again. And he laughed.
'Jeez Jan if you become anymore redder by blushing you will become a tomato!' he said and I laughed.
'I am good Carter! So anything new, how is Julia and Andrew? I asked. Julia and Andrew were Carter's Parents. Then were really sweet and would do anything for their only son. He smiled at mentioning his parents.
'I am good too and nothing new and my parents they are jumpy and bubbly as always' he said and laughed, that's what I liked about them always bubbly and jumpy.
We talked and laughed about random stuff when the bell rang and we both had to part.
We groaned and stopped, staring at each other and bursting into a laugh. I had Spanish and Carter Math. I hugged him and waved my body all tingly from that hug and parted ways.

Time flied so fast that it was home time. I quickly packed my bag and ran outside to see him standing next to his car looking all cool. I laughed shaking my head, Carter!
Carter was driving me home as usual and we spoke a lot about random stuff and how Cindy the bitch slipped and fell. We laughed and he stopped in front of my house. More like a mansion. I turned to look at him and smiled.
'Janess......' he said, taking my hand.
'When I turn into a hot dude I promise I will stay the same and won't leave you and won't let the thoughts of anything stupid come in my head' he said smiling and I kissed him in the cheeks.
'Thanks Carter! Bye, hang out sometime?' I asked getting out. He nodded.
'Later then!' I smiled and ran into my house.
Little did I know that this will be the last time we will be together......
