CHAPTER EIGHTEEN- d e t e n t i o n
Y/n hurried down the stairs towards the great hall, she had managed to oversleep and none of her roommates seemed to care to wake me up, so now she had 5 minutes to get down there and eat. As Y/n stumbled into the great hall she noticed something very strange, nobody talked and everything were quiet. Y/n tiptoed over to James and the others and sat down. "Why is everyone so quiet?" Y/n whispered quietly and placed some food on her plate. "Because of the attacks I think, it was quiet when I walked down here too, no one dares to talk. " James whispered
Y/n continued to look around, nobody talked but there were a few students that was whispering to each other, she saw Albus and Scorpius whispering, Lucas and Adam, Karl and Zack were the only ones whispering. Y/n moved over to Rose and Roxanne "do you guys know why everyone is so quiet?"
Rose glanced up at Y/n and started rambling "haven't you heard? The attacker used the spell imperio on a fourth year student Grace Parvati, so that she would go into the Gryffindor common room and all of the girl dorms except ours, her younger sisters dorm and Molly's dorm but someone managed to cast the body binding curse on her and take her to the hospital. Now everyone is afraid that the attacker will get into the school" now she was nearly out of breath for talking so long. Then Y/n started to wonder, what kind of spell imperio was, she felt like there was a reason Grace hadn't went into her little sisters room, Y/n had seen her wearing a necklace with a crystal pendant which she never took off, maybe Grace's younger sister was the person the attacker was looking for.
"Um what kind of spell is imperio?" Y/n asked
"It's one of the deathly curses, it makes the victim do anything the casters says" Roxanne explained and joined into the conversation. "So the students are just scared?" Y/n asked
Roxanne and Rose nodded, Y/n inched over to Albus and Scorpius that we're still eating. "We have to go now, class has already began"
Albus and Scorpius shot up and they walked together to transfiguration. "I hope we could do something else than listening to McGonagall talking or showing us stuff we never even get to learn" Albus sighed as we walked into the classroom where McGonagall were standing in front of the classroom. Albus, Scorpius and Y/n sat down at the end of the classroom and finally started talking normal. "Thank god, now we don't have whisper anymore" Y/n chirped
"Quiet Miss Thompson!" Professor McGonagall demanded and looked straight at her. Y/n blushed in a rosy pink colour "Sorry" Y/n mumbled and looked down. She could tell Scorpius and Albus were trying their best to not laugh at her red face "Shut up, it's not that funny!" Y/n glared at them but they just continued smiling like idiots.
"It is, you look like a red tomato" Scorpius teased which caused my cheeks to get even more redder, now Albus and Scorpius couldn't stop themselves from laughing.
