Location: Headquarter
"Why us? It would've been the first real mission for me!", you complained after Sephiroth and you had arrived at the heliport at the Headquarter.
"Because the mission could get... difficult", Sephiroth simply said.
"You meant dirty, didn't you?", you sighted. "I can handle such things, I know that the world isn't as colourful as it seems. Wait! Do you think, that I am not ready for such missions?"
"Maybe. I won't answer that question."
With anger in your eyes, you looked at Sephiroth and had stopped his walking towards the elevator by stepping into his way.
"Do you think I hadn't done anything of dirty work in my huntress carrier?" You couldn't remember a specific event, but you could feel it in your bones, that you had already killed other people in combat. After all, the first kill never gets forgotten.
The both of you looked at each other, then you gave up.
"Good! Forget it!", you shouted a little bit too loud. You swirled around and took the stairs to get down to your quartier.
After a while you were near the entrance to the accommodations, a Infantrymen stopped you.
"The Headmaster had ordered a check-up. Please, follow me", the young man ordered. With a nod you followed him to an ordinary diagnostic room. A nurse, not that old hag from Dr. Hojo, was waiting for you.
The young man dismissed himself and then you were alone with the nurse. She asked you some random questions after you had sat down on a chair. Then you had a surprisingly long examination with her. In the process you got to know that she wasn't a nurse, but a doctor. After she had collected all info's and blood samples, she dismissed you.

A little bit tired from the journey and the examination, you wandered slowly around the corridors of the headquarters. You were on your way back to your room, as you suddenly overheard a conversation. Based on the voices, it had to be Sephiroth and Dr.Hojo.
You knew that your mentor hated the doctor and the tone of his voice confirmed it, obviously. You stopped next to the corner and listened to them. But the conversation had stopped and so you could hear the sound of the automatic door of Hojo's laboratory and the approaching footsteps of Sephiroth. But something was strange about the noise. You got away from the wall and walked around the corner, as if you were on the way to a destination behind him.
Your eyes fixed Sephiroth with a surprised expression. It wasn't played because his condition was really bad, his shoulders slightly hung down and his normally clear turquoise gaze had darkened. His aura confirmed his bad mood and his exhaustion.
Out of concern, you quickly arrived besides him, because he had to steady himself with his right hand on the wall. It took him some time to recognize you, but when he had, his eyes widened slightly.
"Don't you dare to reject my help!", your voice sounded a bit rough, rougher than you had planned. "S-Sorry."
Sephiroth wouldn't answer. Or couldn't he? You didn't know...
After you had helped your mentor to reach the accommodations, he gave you his Key card for his room. You opened the door for him and after you had helped him to sit on his bed and had closed the door, you shoved a chair in front of him.
"Now then. Are you alright?"
"Do I look like I'm alright?", he simple asked back.
"Not really..."
