I smash my annoying alarm clock that was loudly playing Chun-Li by Nicki Minaj. I only picked that song cause for some weird reason i always get hype when she says King Kong and that part would automatically wake my ass up. But today i was extra tired From working up late so i decided i could give myself "at least five more minutes" since i deserved it for working so hard.

Or so i thought as i heard my mom banging on my door "nick ¡despierta! You can't be late niñito!!" My mom yells.

I groan as i know that if i didn't get up she wouldn't stop. Eventually she did stop but not five seconds later she came in my room and drenched me with some cold ass water omg 🤦🏽‍♂️

"Ahh!! Ok ok ok I'm up. I'm up!!" I say pushing my Spider-Man blankets off me as they got heavy from soaking up the water.

She rolls her eyes at me " Nick you have to take this job seriously, i worked my ass off finding the perfect place that would take you." She says in her Puerto Rican accent

"I know ma" i reply gratefully it really was hard getting out and tryna build my life up from juvie. She helped tho and got me this job as an assistant for a club owner and was also helping me get ready for my g.e.d "and i couldn't thank you enough" i look up at her.

"Mmhm whatever just go get dressed and meet me downstairs so i can drop you off, unless you'd rather take the public bus?" She pettily folds her arms and smirks at me knowing damn well i can't stand riding public transport. It's always filled with some weirdos and drugees.😷🤢

"No ma I'll meet you downstairs" i say getting up off my bed. She leaves the room and i start looking for my iPhone 7. most of the time i always missplace it when i sleep smh 😬

Digging through my sheets i find it underneath my pillow and thank god that my shit got on its waterproof case 😅

I scroll through my notifications and i see I've gotten a couple hundred likes on Instagram and a few adds on Snapchat, i was lowkey feeling like a local celebrity 😎🤪💅🏽

I opened my phone and seen I'd gotten a couple texts from al,Danielle and 2 from an unknown which is weird since i don't be giving my number out like that.🤨

I clicked on the name and rolled my eyes at the texts

It was probably jays dumbass. I blocked his number as soon as i got out of juvie cause honestly i couldn't deal with his bullshit no more and i knew that if i kept talking to him he'd get me sent to actual jail this time,i sighed.
