"You must want to fight me. Give me a real kiss."

"Come get one short stuff." He laughed.

I hopped off the island and walked right up to him. I tilted my head up to make eye contact. I leaned in half way and waited for my kiss. He knew I wouldn't be able to reach his lips. I closed my eyes and puckered my lips. I heard him chuckle at what my face must have looked like.

Finally I got my kiss. Our lips touched softly at first which gave me butterflies. Then the kiss got tougher and those butterflies in my stomach became dragons. He slid his hands to my butt. I pushed him back because we were still in the kitchen. My mom could be home soon.

"Mmm nope. We won't be doing that mister." I shook my head at him.

"Just let me kiss on your neck a little. You want a booty rub?" He asked and bit his lip.

To be honest I did want one, but I didn't want my mom to catch us in that position. I could never live that down. I probably wouldn't let at all if she caught me laid up with a "knuckle headed boy" on her good furniture.

"Maybe later Ty, but right now I have to cover this bruise. The ice worked though. Thank you baby."

I kissed his cheek and moved away.

"Wow so you just gone curve your man like that? I'm hurt baby. I get it. You don't find me attractive anymore."

He started fake crying and ran around the living room. He played pat-a-cake with the air like from the Color Purple from in front of the sofa while I stood near the stairs.

"Boy stop. I'm dying. Why are you like this?" I said laughing.

He kept on while walking up the steps.

"I loves Harpo. God knows I do!"

By now I was on the floor. I be didn't stop soon I might pee my pants.

He reached the top of the steps and shouted at me.

"NOTHING BUT DEATH COULD KEEP ME FROM IT!"

My neighbors probably thought we were acting out some strange fantasy by now.

I wiped my tears.

"Shut up miss Celie. No more late night BET for you."

We both looked at each other for a few seconds trying to chill out.

"Ain't no ocean, ain't no sea."

"Ain't no ocean,ain't no sea."

Oh my gosh I hate us. We both can be so headass that we speak at the same time.

"God I love you so much."

Tyrie's hazel eyes were wide and looked directly into my own. I grinned so wide that my cheeks were sore.

"I love you more."

He shook his head at me. He came back down the steps and pulled me into a hug.

"Not possible. I would probably die for you."

"Well I would live for you."

Ty chuckled and started blushing.

"I guess you got me beat then."

Thump

I pushed back.

"My mother is here. Finally, she's gonna bring me food because she loves me."

I skipped out to the garage to me my mama. I automatically stopped when I saw that she wasn't holding my dinner in her hand. I just turned around and walked back towards the house.

"Little girl you just not gone greet your mama?"

I threw a hey over my shoulder and walked inside. Tyrie looked at me in shook. I gave him a face and crossed my arms.

"You are so petty pretty girl. Why are you acting so rude now? You need some act right?"

I shook my head and pouted.

"No." I rolled my eyes and huffed.

"Then get your ass outside and give your mother a hug. Unless you want me to take you upstairs and bend you over my kn-"

"No I'm going nigga damn." I mumbled walking to the door.

"WHAT YOU SAY?"

"I said yes daddy."

I rolled my eyes again when he couldn't see me.

"And stop rolling your eyes." He shouted from the living room.

I ran towards the door with wide eyes. I swear I think he can read minds or some shit.
