I am known for the way I dress,
Or how they say my mind is a mess.
There are things underneath you don't know.
Don't judge because you have to clue what people like us go throughFor all the times people watched me wide eyed,
As I walked in public with my strange style.
And hurt me when they said every time I said something I lied.
And push my views and opinions aside.
In my heart my good thoughts confide,
Wanting to fight for the right to be myself that was denied.
But I keep my head high and walk away
With my untouched pride.I'm human too,
Just my thoughts differs form you.
You oppose me going against religion,
But try and look at it from my point of vision.
You'll realize the hurt I get from your discrimination.
Yet you push my views and opinions aside.
And I want to fight for my rights that were denied.
But I keep my head high and walk away.
Me and my untouched pride.Maya❤❤💖
A/N I am not apart of the LGBT+ community but I fully support them and any efforts made to stop discrimination against anyone in the LGBT+ community. Thus, this poem is written as apart of #pride month and from the point of view from someone apart of the LGBT+ community.
Because they're human too,
just that they think slightly differently in certain areas than we do.✌✌Dedicated to
