My auburn eyes watched the male before me, his chocolate eyes, in turn, returning my gaze. Studying over his features, I noted the pale tint of his skin, a cold contrast to his irises that bore into mine. An odd familiarity was obviously notable, yet I couldn't quite put my finger on it. As if it was an adult looking at a childhood toy from when they were 3.
"...What are we going to do?" His eyes flickered up to mine at the inquiry of my voice.
"Pack what you must, we'll be leaving as soon as possible." Smooth as his aura, his voice instantly calmed my nerves. Visibly so it seems, as he tilts his head in the slightest. I can't help but note the way his messy, yet oddly alluring, cocoa hair gently tilts along with him.
"What?"
"Nothing, nothing." The faintest of a smile occupies my lips.
Turning towards the dresser, I begin piling out outfit after outfit. Yet, I still feel his gaze watching my every move. The one thing I can't sense, however, is why.
"What is it?" Glancing briefly over my shoulder, the one thing I don't expect is to see him sitting there, an intensity in his gaze as he watches me. It freezes me in place, and I'm sure he notices.
"...You're beautiful."
And for that single moment, I cease breathing. The world around me seems to slow down within the moment, yet my heart is a different story.
"Wh-What?" Whirling around, one can only imagine my surprise to instead find the tall male standing directly in front of me, his eyes once again boring into mine.
"You're beautiful," he repeats, his eyes not once leaving mine as I gape up at him in silent astonishment. Unable to form a reply in the moment, I simply stand there, mouth agape as my eyes watched his.
And yet, he takes the opportunity to once again surprise me, as his head leans down to connect our lips. Both of us move in unison with each other's movements, a spark instantly striking the both of us in a heated exchange.
Despite the rising desire, we pull apart, oxygen being needed for at least one of us.
I watch as he flashes a toothy grin down at me, his fangs peeking out from behind his lips.
"Surprised?"
"Very. You ass."
My own grin fails to hide itself as his heavenly laugh reaches my ears, "come on, we have to finish up and head out. Who knows when they'll come breaking down the doors."
'Thomas and his gang,' I can't help but scoff at the mere thought of them.
A small group of vampires looking for money, and my death.
And the funniest part?
The man who can so easily bend me to his will, the man standing in front of me, is one of them too.
A vampire.
"Love?" His voice breaks me from my thoughts as I snap my gaze up to meet his.
"Sorry, sorry, you're right."
Resuming my previous task, it seems Drake, the man behind me, once again decides to tease me. His arms wrap around me from behind, gently pressing me to his unclothed chest, as he sighs deeply in content.
"What's wrong? And don't lie to me, I know when you lie." As always, he can sense when I'm upset.
"Aren't I putting you in danger by you being around me...?" I spin around in his arms, yet I can still feel the slight tenseness that forms in his arms.
"Not at all. If anything, I'm putting you in danger by being around you." A scoff makes its way from me before I can stop it, my gaze casting itself to the floor.
"This wouldn't be happening if I just stayed away from you. Thomas wouldn't be after you, and you wouldn't of gotten hit by a fucking truck-" His arms practically crush me against him as he pulls me into a tight embrace, his words also cutting off mine.
"Him and I have never been on good terms, something like this is simply inevitable, and you're definitely not the cause for it."
Silence runs between us as we stand there, planted in place by the horrid reality of the situation.
We could very well die from this.
Maybe that's why we say nothing more from there, why we simply stand there without a hint of moving. Cherishing the person in front of either of us, we cling to each other until one of us breaks the silence.
"W-We," I speak up, my voice quiet with the faint sense of fear, "we should finish packing."
He lets go of me, his eyes instead watching the window in alertness.
We both knew why.
Death was coming.
We just needed to be gone first.

FantasyNo, once again, this is not an RP for you. Simply a book that I can share with my fellow RP'ers in our own little group RP. However, these are only ideas, they will, most likely, not even be used.
