Ben POV

Today Mal and I finally had a day off from work after we had our hands full with work for 6 weeks. Evie and Doug wanted to babysit Lia who now is 7 months and 3 weeks old until tomorrow to get the experience of being parents. My parents are out of town visiting my grandfather but they will return tomorrow afternoon. Right now Mal and I are packing the last few things Lia would need when she is with her aunt. "did you pack the extra pacifiers" "uhh yah there in the blue bag" then we heard baby babbling and looked to see our daughter happily crawling around in her room. I laughed and watched her for a few seconds. "someone is happy today" "which is going to be great for Evie and Doug" I nodded and went back to packing Lia's stuff. then we heard a knock on the door to the nursery "come in"I said. the door opened and Lumiere appeared. "your highnesses your guests are here" he said and Evie and Doug stepped inside. "thank you Lumiere" Mal said and he left. "hey E hey Doug" Mal greeted. "hey guys" "hey so is everything ready" "almost you still need diapers and she also needs a new one" Mal said. "ok" "I'll pack the diapers and you change the diaper ok" Mal nodded and called for Lia to come over to her. "Lia baby come over to mommy" she said as she crouched down and reached out her arms. Lia babbled something as she crawled over to her mother. "well if someone isn't cheery today huh" "oh yes that will make things easier for you" Mal picked Lia up and changed her diaper. "so everything is packed the baby is ready and she already ate breakfast she eats bread and bananas everything else is packed in her bag then before sleeping in the evening she still needs a bottle and try to keep remote controls away from her if you want them to still be working" "ok then let's get you in your carseat and ready to spent two days with your auntie Evie and uncle Doug" Mal said and we walked downstairs to their car. we packed everything in the trunk and then said goodbye to our baby "bye Lia see you tomorrow I'll miss you" I said and kissed her on her cheek and she babbled something back. "Bye baby girl mommy will miss you too you little troublemaker. I love you and see you tomorrow ok" I put her in her carseat and in the car. "so bye and good luck if you need anything just give us a call" "we will bye and thank you again" "no problem it's a chance for a full timeout for us too 6 weeks of pure work and then in the evening Lia who was in a growth spurt which is hard to handle and then getting her teeth it was hectic now we just had one normal day without work but with a baby not that I'm complaining but there are really times like this when I just need a timeout" "and no one blames you I mean you are the king and queen and parents it's obvious that one job alne is pretty rough but handling both things at the same time I think it's normal to need a timeout" "yah and now we're having one and lucky for you Ben stopped to worry about Lia when she's with people we know and trust" "good because my phone would have been off all
the time" "well were going now and you two take a timeout no work ok" "yes understood" they both got into the car and left. when Mal and I were in our bedroom she asked "so what do you want to do now that we're alone" "hmmm I might have a few ideas"I said. "and what would that be" "well it has something to do with you and me we haven't done that in a while and we won't be wearing any clothes" "oh ok well I guess that would be something we could do" she said and came to kiss me. I returned the kiss straight away and pulled her impossibly closer. Mal started unbuttoning my shirt while I was busy unzipping her dress. when I was done unzipping her dress I massaged her butt until she took off my shirt. I helped her out of her dress then she jumped up and wrapped her legs around my waist as I slowly walked over to the bed where I laid her down and stood up to take off my pants leaving both of us in our underwear.
