Chapter 16

Mal POV

One week later we are just driving back from the doctors office. Lia is doing well now she's gained a little more weight and is almost at a normal rate. Once we pulled up i front of the castle Ben took Lia in her carseat out of the car and then helped me out. Once outside the car I saw a lot of paparazzi who were trying to get a foto of Lia and a few questions answered from Ben and I. We just walked past them and I side the castle as fast as we could. "oh man those guys are never going to stop trying to get a good foto of our little princess" "nope they won't well it's not like we are not posting pictures of her weekly on royalgram. but hey your the King and in the queen and Lia is the heir to the throne so..." Ben chuckled as we made our way into the Libary where we found Ben's parents doing some reading. "Hey your back how did it go how us our little princess" Adam asked as he saw us. "hey yes we're back Amelia is doing great the doctor said she gained a little more weight and is really close to a normal rate" "that's great news" we sat down on the sofa in front of Belle and Adam and Ben placed Lia on the floor. Adam turned the carseat around and took the smiling baby out of her carseat. I smiled to myself my plan is almost finished Lia got used to being put down for sleep by someone else and being taken out of bed too it was just a few times that no one else than me could calm her down. I took the  book I'm reading at the moment  from the table next to me and started reading as Adam started talking to Lia. After a while of reading I got torn from reading because Lia was crying. "Oh is my little baby princess hungry huh then let's go and feed you." Adam said and walked out of the Libary with Lia. I smiled and looked at Ben who was smiling at me. "I think he's really  happy to have a  granddaughter you can see it"Ben said  "he's proud of you two  and of Lia of course so am I" "thank you mom/Belle"  "your welcome kids I think what makes him even more proud is that it's a girl as you know we tryed for a sibling for you and we both also wanted a daughter but as you can see it never worked" "yah I know but now you both have a granddaughter" "yes we do and hey we're hoping to have more grandchildren" "oh yes we do" Adam said as he walked back with Lia and a bottle. He sat down and started feeding her. "well then we can say that we've talked about the kids theme after our wedding and we definitely want 2 children and we wouldn't mind to have a 3rd one by accident" I told them while Ben nodded. they just smiled at us and then everyone resumed to what we did before. "So we're ready eating and you know what baby girl this evening we're having a lot of people over because there will be a royal dinner and you know who will also be there mommy's siblings  your aunt Evie and your uncle's Carlos and Jay" "grandpa is right there will be a lot of people over here which remind's me I have to take a shower now because that's in just 2 and a half hours" I said and walked outside the room after settling my book on the table again. I went into our bedroom and got some clothes I'll be needing after the shower and went inside the bathroom. After I was finished I could already hear that Ben was in the room with Lia and she was crying but he didn't get her to stop. I put on some under wear and walked out of the bathroom to see Ben standing there in the middle of the room rocking our daughter. "Need some help" "yes I have no idea how to stop we she started crying right after you left the Libary and didn't stop mom and and also tried their luck" I walked over to him and he gave Lia to me. I walked over to the bed and sat down and laid her on my bare chest and belly while carefully stroking her back. "Ben can you please pass me her blanked" he took the blanked out of her bed and passed it to me. I laid her blanked on top of her and wrapping my arms around her. Her cryes became quiet and soon she fell asleep on my chest. "I'm still asking myself what is better about when you rock her to sleep than when I do it or mom and dad" "well your all not mommy" we chuckled. I still sat like that for 5 minutes to make sure that she was in a deep sleep before carefully standing up and placing Lia  in her bed. "I'm gonna take a shower now" Ben said and disappeared inside the bathroom. I got dressed completely and did my make up. then Ben came out of the bathroom struggling with his tie. I walked over and tied his tie for him. "thanks baby" "where would you be without me huh" "well without you I would be an lonely King who hates everyone and everything and without you I wouldn't have such a wonderful and beautiful perfect little baby girl. And on top of that without you I wouldn't be complete." I smiled at him and attacked his lips with mine and we kissed long and passionately. "I love you"  I said Once we pulled away. "I love you too" we  walked to our sleeping daughter and watched her a few minutes before it was time to go to the dinner. "come on we have to  go" I told Ben. He sighted and nodded. We put on our crowns and walked downstairs after I took the baby monitor with me. Once we arrived we saw that Cinderella, Prince Charming, Chad, Aurora,Phillip,Audrey,Fairy  Godmother, Jane, my siblings,Doug, the dwarfs, Mulan, Shang,Lonnie and Ben's parents already were in the dining hall chatting. Once they noticed us they face us. "Excuse us we had some baby trouble" I said. "No problem your majesties is everything ok with the princess"fairy Godmother said "Yes she just has a mommy day today that's all" Ben answered. We started eating and just a we were about to start with the main dish Lia cryed. "Excuse me I have to go for a quick minute you can start without me" I said and walked outside with the baby monitor in my hand. I went up the stairs and into our room walked to Lias Bed and took her out of it I changed and her diaper and clothes and noticed that she was a little warm. I took her temperature and turns out she has a little fever. She soon started crying again so I walked downstairs and into the kitchen where Mrs.Potts was. " Good evening Mal and if course Amelia" she said. "good evening Mrs.Potts I just have to prepare  bottle" "no problem dear the little one also need to eat" I prepared the bottle and walked inside the dining hall I say down on my chair"Oh and there is th princess she got a lot bigger done the last time I saw her"said Cinderella who sat next to me. "She really did" "How old is she now 5 weeks" Aurora asked. "6 weeks" since Ben was already finshed like the rest of the table he wanted to feed her " give her to he I'll feed her so you can eat"  "Ben that's not gonna work she has a mommy day and I  checked she also has a little fever" "you haven't even tried to let me feed her come on" I sighted and gave Amelia to him and started eating but as expected she just cried even more than before " ok you were right that's not working" "told you" I said and took Lia back she immediately cried a little more  quiet and stopped as I started feeding her. "Ben tell Mrs. Potts to ring the next dish that's gonna take a while" He nodded and soon the next dish was served. Lia cried again and stopped eating. I excused myself and took her to the living room where I calmed her down quickly and started feeding her again. as she was finished eating I rocked her of to sleep and walked back into the dining hall here  they already discussed a few royal things they wanted to address in the next council meeting. I joined the conversation once I sat on my chair again with Lia still in my arms. The evening came to an end and Aurora Phillip Cinderella Prime Charming Mulan Shang and the dwarfes left. the rest of us walked into the living room and talked there for a while until Evie and Doug stood up and said "we have an announcement to make" everyone turned the attention towards them as they continued "We're gonna have a baby" Eveyoune congratulated them and soon everyone left. "So I'm gonna go to bed  now" I said. "me too" Ben said "ok good night" "good night" we went into our room and  changed I changed Lia too and put her to bed. I went to bed myself where Ben was already waiting for me I laid next to him with my head on his  chest and his arm wrapped around me"good night baby" "good night Benny"
