I'll delete this but I just wanted to get it out there yEET

In my opinion, it's easily one of my favorite albums he's created. I know is like a huge hit or miss for people but it just checked every thing off on things I love about songs.

I've always had a thing for theatrical songs, and that was basically the center focus of this album which had me sHOOK.

I also loved the energy the album gave off. It makes me feel like I wanna conquer the world or some shit. It's also got that "depressing lyrics with happy sounds" thing going on which is my JAM.

The instrumental is SO impressive. I love all the horns and strings and just UGH. It's beautiful.

Here are song opinions:

1: (Fuck a) Silver Lining
I like this song. It's not my favorite, but I really do like it. It's a really good opening track and totally sets the mood. 3/5

2. Say Amen (Saturday Night)
I LOVE THIS SONG WOWOWOW. The lyrics are pretty good, and the chorus is just OOF. I feel like it's a really good mix of their older more pop punk sound and their newer modern sound. 4/5

3. Hey Look Ma, I Made It
I wasn't the biggest fan when I first heard it, but after a couple more listens and the music video, I was pretty hooked. The structure and sound is kinda basic but I still enjoyed it! I love the lyrics. He made something so depressing seem happy, which is very cool. 3.5/5

4. High Hopes
This song sells it for me. I've always loved it. It give such a happy and exciting energy that could make me happy on any day. The lyrics are at its best in the 2nd verse in my opinion. Also HORNS. YES KILL IT. 4/5

5. Roaring 20's
OH BOYYYY. OOOOOHHH BOY. THIS IS MY FAVORITE. It's amazing. It really gave me The Greatest Showman vibes, which is a GREAT thing. The instrumental is fantastic, the lyrics are some of the best on the album, and that bRIDGE. Tell me you weren't shaking. 5/5 don't touch me

6. Dancing's Not a Crime
Not my favorite, it sounds kind of repetitive 'n stuff. Though the chorus is gr8! Also wiTHOUT ME. You know what I'm taking about? Yeah, that was pretty great. It's good, but I'm not a huge fan. 2/5

7. One of the Drunks
I cannot describe how confused this song made my emotions. It sounds SO good but it makes me sad??? I love it, it's definitely one of my favorites. The lyrics are very good, and sounds different from everything else on the album. It definitely touched me and hit me in the feels. 4/5

8. The Overpass
HOLY SHIT. THE BEGINNING HAD ME IN CHILLS. It sounds like a superhero movie and just, wOw. Also the little "Let me here you say something!" is my new aesthetic. Also the bridge, talk about smooth hOly. The lyrics are good and I just. Yes. 4.5/5

9. King of the Clouds
I liked it. Not favorite, but it was still good. I liked the whole feel of it and how different it was from the rest of the album. The vice is also relaxing yet fun and upbeat. The lyrics are pretty good too. Overall, I feel like it was lacking, but I still enjoyed it. 3/5

10. Old Fashioned
Okay wow banger. I enjoy the difference between the modern, hip-hop-ish verses, and the parade like chorus. The lyrics are okay, but weren't the best. 3/5

11. Dying in LA
I AM DEHYDRATED FROM TEARS HOLY SHIT. This song is perfect. The lyrics are great, the instrumental is so beautiful, and vocally he was kiLLING IT. You can really tell how much he put into this song, and it definitely paid off. 5/5

Overal: 4/5
