chapter 10

*Rose*

After I had the guys from the moving company take my things to my new house I paid them after they had taken my things there and put everything where I wanted it. I got in my car and went dress shopping for the wedding, Wyatt gave me a dark colored mask to wear on my face so I decided to find a dress that would match it which took almost three hours to find a dress but I found one, I headed back home and got ready before the wedding started, I did my hair and make-up then put on the dress...my phone vibrated against the table that it was sitting on, I picked it up and seen that it was Wyatt asking me where I was...I guess I took longer than I had thought so I quickly hurried to the address that he text me and walked inside then begun looking for him, I seen him standing next to another guy which I assumed that was his friend he was telling me about, I slowly walked over to him and started talking to him...

Rose: hello

Wyatt: hi there are you looking for someone?

I realized that he didn't recognize me in this outfit so I decided to play along

Rose: yes I am actually but I don't think he is here yet, could you help me out?

Wyatt: sure just tell me who it is that  you are looking for sweetheart...

I looked down and blushed a little, I was thankful that it was dark over here cause I didn't want him to see me blushing.

Rose: well he is tall with brown hair and is the nicest guy that I have met, he invited me here but I can't find him.

Wyatt: well cupcake I can't help you if you don't tell me his name...

Rose: oh umm I believe he told me his name was Warren...or was it Wyatt?

I seen him look over at me and I started laughing a little...

Wyatt: I was beginning to think you wasn't going to show up...

Rose: I lost track of time sorry...

Wyatt: come on I want to introduce you to my friend, he insisted on meeting you after I told him about you.

I felt him grab my hand as our fingers intertwined together as we slowly walked over to where his friend was sitting at...

Wyatt: hey Jack here is that girl I was telling you about.

Jack: Rose right? It is nice to finally meet you, Wyatt told me about you.

Rose: all good things I hope, it's nice meeting you too Jack and congratulations on your marriage.

Jack: well thank you Rose, anyway Wyatt I better get back to my wife before she starts looking for me, enjoy the party you two...

Rose: well he is a nice person...so what do you wanna do next?

Wyatt: I want to show you something, come on...

We walked outside and seen a garden full of roses and a hedge maze that towered over us...

Rose: it is pretty out here...

I felt him let go of my hand and began walking into the maze...I took off the heels I was wearing and ran in after him but he had already disappeared when I walked inside, I got lost while trying to find him but as I was trying to find my way out that's when I felt a light tap on my shoulder and before I knew it he had me pin up against the side of the green vines while staring me dead in the eyes...I seen him begin to slowly lean towards me but stopped when my phone rang breaking the silence between us.

Rose: I'm sorry but I need to take this...

He let out a sigh before walking away from me...I answered the phone while I watched Wyatt walk away from me and leaving me alone in this maze...The phone call was my boss letting me that he got me a plane ticket to England, he had a client that wanted of few photos for a photography sale so I agreed to get on a plane and go to England...I hung up the phone and went looking for Wyatt but couldn't find him and his friend said that he left a few minutes ago, I thanked him and walked back out to my car and got inside, I sat there for a few minutes while I thought about what I needed to do, I didn't want to lose my job so I decided to let Wyatt go after tonight, I didn't want to hurt him, I pulled out my phone and text him...

Wyatt I am sorry for not realizing sooner, but I am not ready for a relationship yet I hope you understand and that we can continue staying friends after tonight, I am on my way to England you are welcome to come with me if you want to but if I don't hear from you in an hour I understand why and I hope to see you soon...
