A jet was flying firing bullets. Steve and Thor jumped out of the way as well as a few other citizens, but Clint and the kid couldn't.

I saw Pietro look, but saw me already running there. He hesitated but as soon as he started making his way there it was too late.

I had jumped in front of the bullets taking the fire.

Clint and the boy were unharmed and Pietro was fine.

I stood there stumbling and in pain. Clint turned around and saw me.

I looked at him then collapsed.

The last thing I heard was, "I didn't see that coming..." Then nothing.

I could hear and feel a breeze running through my fur, I could smell grasses and clean air.

The most noticable thing was that I didn't feel the pain.

I finally opened my eyes and saw colors. I saw the color of the grass in front of me. As I stood, I could see that the field I was in looked like it went on forever.

That was when a scent filled my nose, one I thought I would never smell again.

I turned my head and saw a figure standing in the field, it was the only thing that stood out.

I broke into a sprint towards the figure, recognizing him as I got closer.

It was Calvin, I barked and jumped up on him.

He laughed and caught me, scratching behind my ear with one hand and supported me with the other.

"That's my good girl," he praised.

I let out another bark, my tail was wagging excitedly.

He let out another laugh as he put me back onto the ground.

He took a few steps away before giving the order, "Fuss," he didn't even need to say the order.

I'd missed him so much...

We didn't walk for long until we came upon a still pond.

It was perfectly clear, revealing a gravel bottom and nothing swimming inside.

Despite the breeze, the water had no movement. A rock seemed to appear as Calvin went to sit down.

I tilted my head at it.

He laughed at me again, "It just happens Dali," he assured me before looking back at the pond, waving a hand over it.

I looked at the water and watched as a ripple appeared in the center and spread out.

The gravel disappeared, revealing the Hulk sitting in a jet.

He seemed upset.

"He'll be okay," Calvin assured me, reaching over and putting a hand on my head as he scratched my ear once more.
