Just like always, Peggy sat at a corner table silently, engrossed in her book. This was a new one, a romance, and even though cliche, Peggy loved it. Someone cleared their throat. Peggy didn't move an inch and continued to read. They cleared their throat again. "What do you want John?" Peggy asked, glancing up quickly. "Someone is a little moody today" John teased, taking a seat next to her. "What book is this?" "A romance one." "Title?" Peggy lifted up the book and showed him the cover, not taking her eyes off the pages. "Interesting." "It sure is-" There was a loud commotion outside the mansion, becoming louder by the minute. Soon it was inside, guests fleeing and screaming. "Pirates!"
