Immortality

Hey guys! How have you been? I haven't make a rant for awhile so I decided to make one today. Like you must see by now I decided to talk about immortality.

Here's the thing, I get people wanting to have a long, happy and healthy life and I'm all for it but why do people want to live forever. Besides, do people realize that if there was no death then there would be just more people around and eventually there will be no more space for new people. I mean, Earth isn't infinite and isn't all land.

So like you can tell, I don't want to live forever, my goal is living a nice life, next to my loved ones and trying to have a nice life. My goal basically is showing people that if we fight for what we want without stepping over other we can get our dreams to come true. I want a simple and nice life where I can enjoy the simple things from life, like hang out with friends and family to eat waffles with Nutella and watch FRIENDS.

Of course I also want a nice job and everything but my goal is more focus on trying to be the best person I can be.
There's people who say they want to find someone who makes them be their best version, well I want to be my best version for me and not for someone else, I want people to like me for me and I want to be nice and kind and independent and all that not because of someone else, I want all that because of me. I believe we should first love who we are before anything else.

But going back to what I was saying, I have all those goals but I don't want to live forever, I want to live, enjoy the good moments and be strong in the bad moments, with my family and friends by my side, but there will be a moment when I think it's okay to die because the great thing about life is that we never know when it's going to end so we have to take advantage of it and enjoy as much as we can. I am not saying go to parties all the time and enjoy the moment without thinking about consequences because I'm not like that and I would be hypocrite if I said that. I'm saying that life has a beginning and an end and we should be happy for that instead of trying to find a way to be immortal because I feel like knowing life will end eventually makes me want to leave a mark and even if I won't be reminded by everyone like some people, I know that at least I mark a few peoples lives by being their friend and trying to be their for them in the good and bad. I think immortality it's too much overrated. Why would we want to be immortal? Mortality makes us valorize what we have and the people around us.
