To fill the void in my chest

Maybe it'll be green

Or maybe it'll be someone

My skin it screams

My eyes they burn with tears

Tears of pain

Tears of longing

I can't float through this chaotic world alone

I know I sound desperate

But I can't feel the earth beneath my feet

I can't feel anything or anyone

So I'll sit inside this mind of mine

Darkness roams here

Demons dance here

I wait here

And I won't leave here

Not until someone shows me I can feel more than this
