A/N:

Hello! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I'm really excited for you to read this chapter because it was definitely a challenging one to write! Well, it's not so hard to guess why... *cough the title cough*

A special thanks goes to everyone who's voted and commented on the previous chapter because I am really blown by the amount of feedback I've received. They really motivate me lots — the proof is me posting exactly within one week. I'm actually so busy and hardly have time to write but I managed to type down a chapter in one sitting so yay us!

Happy reading & don't forget to click on the star aka vote and leave some feedback to encourage this hug-needy person.

GAIL SHIFTS IN HER BED.

The sunlight sneaks through the slim space between the dark grey curtains and falls on the hem of the blanket that covers Gail's belly like it knows what's coming up next. Eyes shut, she stretches her body. She feels less hangover and the headache is completely gone but she still feels queasy and tired.

All she wants to seize the day and rest in this bed without having to interact with a single human being. She's turning into a domestic person or not even that, since she doesn't care much about her house, either. If her mother didn't tidy up, the bottles and tissues must be filling around and the bathroom isn't really a place she plans to visit anytime soon.

Then, like there's nothing else she should be thinking, her mind goes back to two nights ago when Santi drunk-called her—possibly more drunk than she was—and talked in Spanish. She tries to remember what he's said but it's almost impossible when she doesn't know the language. If she remembered a word or two, she could translate them and try to figure what he had said. Her assumption lies on that he's missing her and she heard te quiero somewhere too. It's nothing different from what he's said when she left him. Well, it's also possible that he's cursed her all the way because she slapped him before.
