I tried once more, failing like the first time. I pouted a little, turning to whine to him.

"You gotta find a flat one," he said, bending at the waist to pick one up. I did so, about to throw it again.

"Wait," he spoke, coming closer to me in the water. "Bend your arm like that," he instructed. He used his own force, thrusting my arm forward and making it skip perfectly.

"Oh," I smiled, turning to look at him. He smiled back, kissing my cheek for no apparent reason. I turned away so I could blush, picking up another rock to pass the time.

I heard him slosh away against the current, whistling over the roaring waters.

I continued to skip some rocks, still feeling his lips on my cheek. Kissing came back to my mind, and I remembered how jealous I had been at the nonexistent girl Niall hadn't ever kissed.

Two months was long enough to get to know a person, and I knew Niall pretty well. Sometimes, he would tell me I was pretty or hold my hand, and I would get those stupid butterflies.

I didn't want to say that I was crushing on Niall, but I was. It grew with every smile and laugh he gave me.

I pushed those thoughts away, admiring the way the sun was kissing my shoulders and how the water flowed through my toes.

I felt water hit my back and gasped, turning to see Niall laughing.

"You splashed me!" I exclaimed. He nodded, doing it again. I gritted my teeth, pretending to be mad at him. I splashed him back, leading to us both being soaked in each other's waves of water.

"You cheeky boy," I blushed, looking down at my tank top, my black bra clearly visible now that it was soaked through.

"You got me out here in a white shirt so you could go peeping," I said, squinting at him and crossing my arms, trying to be mad but also trying to cover myself.

"And it worked," he smirked, coming closer to me. I gasped, turning away from him.

"Pervert," I sneered, trying really hard not to laugh. He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling the fabric of my shirt with his hands a little and exposing abit of my skin.

"No," he chuckled, extending the word. I felt my stomach flip at his proximity, and I hoped he didn't feel it, too.

"Well, maybe a little," he said quietly. I pushed him off of me, laughing only to myself, but as a result I slipped on the rocks beneath me. Before I could be pulled under, he caught me, making me face him.

"Be careful," he smiled, looking at the water behind me. I saw his eyes shift to my bra once more and hit his shoulder.

"C'mon, (Y/N)," he laughed. "Black bras are really hot." I gaped at him, unwilling to believe he was making me so embarrassed. I pushed him off me for the second time, forgetting the position I was in. I flopped down into the water, soaking myself all over again.

I screamed, continuing to do so as he pulled me out of the water.

"Oh, my gosh," he laughed, his cheeks turning red. I began to laugh with him and eventually we couldn't stop. He pulled me back to the rock, but even then we couldn't stop laughing. He jumped up next to me, and the sun was close to setting, the colors mixing together in the sky. We laid on our backs for a few minutes as we ceased chortling like idiots.

He brought out some snacks from the basket when we sat back up.

"Gummy worms are my favorite!" I smiled. "How did you know?" He chuckled, chewing on a green and blue one.
