"Do you want to spend the night?" Rosalie asked Luna, while she was packing her things up to go home
Luna hesitated for a bit "I don't know I mean I was supposed to help out at the bakery with Jackson but maybe I can skip it just for today"she told Rosalie, putting her Spanish textbook in her bag
"I'll let my aunt know I wont be coming home then" Rosalie nodded and went downstairs to let her family know.
Luna picked up her phone, and waited for her aunt to pick up, after a couple seconds, she picked up. the sound of dishes clattering and loud laughter
"Hello?, Luna are you coming home?"Aunt Tessa asked through the phone
"Hey Aunt T, is it alright if i sleepover at a friends house ?"Luna fidgeted in her seat, waiting for her aunts response
Tessa paused, thinking about it "Do I know them?" She didn't trust many people with Nathan and Luna so Luna understood why she would be hesitant to agree
"Well No but I was telling you about them the other day remember" Luna argued, Tessa laughed silently
"Your crush is there?, Hmm I don't know"Tessa teased
"Aunt T! I don't have a crush on anyone!"Luna hissed, which only made her laugh harder,
"I'm just joking, of course you can sleepover"Luna sighed in relief, she really did want to spend the night and get to know them better, when they were away she always felt kind of empty and she didn't want to disappoint them
Meanwhile downstairs Rosalie was telling her family that Luna would be staying for the night
"That's great, how about just the girls sleep together and the boys will stay in their rooms" Bella said, the others frowned at the suggestion
"That's not fair" Emmett frowned deeper, Rosalie chuckled, sitting on his lap and wrapping her arms around his neck
"So we don't even get to be with one of our mates" Edward spoke up, not liking the fact that he wouldn't be able to be near Bella or Luna
"It's not like you guys can sleep anyways"Alice laughed
Emmett scowled and mumbled 'neither can you'
Esme and Carlisle watched the scene in amusement as their adoptive children bickered, jasper being the only one not speaking his opinion but anyone could see the displeasure on his pale face
The room got silent when they heard Luna's footsteps coming towards them
Luna smiled when she caught sight of the Cullen's "my aunt said I could stay the night, if that's okay with you"she directed the question to Esme and Carlisle
Esme smiled warmly at the brunette "of course you can, your welcome here anytime" she reassured, The corners of Carlisle's mouth slid upwards forming a kind and loving smile directed at Luna
Luna turned and faced the rest of the Cullen's who watched her happily,
