Opening her locker Luna pulled out her textbook, Jumping slightly when she shut it only to see Avery leaning against the lockers
"Geez Avery you could've given me a heart attack" Luna scolds walking besides Avery to class
Avery scoffed "as if I would ever intentionally hurt my future sister in law and maid of honor" she reassured
Luna went to object but decided against it knowing Avery she would make a dramatic scene in the school like 'what! You don't want to be my maid of honor, fine! Your not invited to the wedding'
Hearing her name being called, Luna looked to her right and saw jasper and Alice standing hand by hand
Avery followed Luna when she tried to abandon her and join the new kids instead, Alice and jasper breathed in her flowered scent as she neared them though jasper quickly stopped, smelling her friend Avery's
Avery looked Alice up and down and made a sound of distaste causing Alice's bright smile to falter and jasper to wrap his arm around her trying to hold in a snarl for disrespecting Alice but remembered that Avery was his other mate Luna's best friend
Luna looked at Avery in disapproval " ignore her she's being stubborn" Luna states, before sending jasper a soft smile having not talked to him yet
"Hi Jasper" Luna greeted softly, she didn't know why but something about Jasper made her feel protective of him in fact she felt protective about all of them, jasper stiffly nodded he was still tense because of Avery's presence
"Hello" he replied clearing his throat and sent a small smile her way, not wanting to make his mate feel uncomfortable by how still he was standing
Alice smiled at them beside jasper who had his hand wrapped around her small waist while Avery scowled feeling like she was being replaced by the new kids
"Uhm Hello bitch I'm still here"Avery interrupted, grabbing her wrist and pulled her away glaring at jasper and Alice
"Avery! Stop!, you didn't even let me say goodbye" Luna whined, Avery ignored her though and continued pulling her away Luna eventually giving up
"Stay away from my best friend!"Avery shouted and then disappeared through the hallway with Luna
"I don't like her" Jasper scowled, Alice giggled wrapping her arms around his neck, Jaspers Hands instantly going around her waist
"I like her she's protective of our mate" Alice reasoned
"I don't, she disrespected you and then took our mate away from us" Jasper growled
Alice shook her head fondly and tugged him" come on let's get to class" she spoke softly under her breath knowing he could her
