Come back to California, chapter 01

'Don't go! Don't go! Just turn around and hear me out!

Don't go! Don't go! 'Cause I can be mute without you now!

Don't go! Don't go!'

The music faded and the crowd went wild. He bent down to show his appreciation to his fans. Ryan could see Jamie, Nash and Ian did the same thing. The only difference between him and the two guitarists and the drummer was that he was not wearing a smiling face like they were.

'Thank you!' Nash shouted into the micro, secretly nudging Ryan's arm.

'Looks like Nash want to talk about the next song!' Ryan smiled immediately and pointed at his lead guitarist with both hands. The crowd shouted madly once again. Ryan smiled innocently as Nash gave him a real quick glare and he started to talk to the fans while Ryan was looking for his bottle of water, distracting himself from the crowd.

'Thank you all for coming and listening to our stories.' Nash said cheerfully. Then he played some soft melody with his favourite turquoise guitar. 'The next song is more of a slow tempo one. And it's kinda sad as well. This song is for Ryan's very special person. Ladies and gentlemen, this is "Shine".' Nash and Ian started to play the intro part of the song. Then Jamie joined in with the drum.

Ryan knew 'Shine' was supposed to be the next song but he did not expect Nash introduced the song like that. The fan girls started to look weird. Nash's line would cause a flood of tweets questioning that 'very special person' tonight. He could already see some girl typing like crazy in their phones.

Ryan picked up his guitar and started to sing into the mic:

'Yeah, thanks for the scandal bitch!' Ryan complained as he checked his Twitter account while they were in their van. There were hundreds of fans' tweets asking him about what Nash meant during the concert earlier.

'Tell me about it. Check out our main twitter page.' Ian chuckled as he turned his laptop around for the rest of the band to see the overloaded page, all of which was fan girl's messages. 'And the tag "hot chelle rae" on Tumblr!' He added while looking at his phone.

'No joke. Someone uploaded the video with Nash's talking and look, more than a thousand hits in the last hour!' Jamie opened Youtube on his laptop.

'In my own defense, we did create more publicity!' Nash also scrolled his screen up and down with his brows raised quite high with amusement.

'More publicity my ass!' Ryan snapped at Nash. It was his final line before he slammed his anger on the bed in his own space on the van.

'Well, seems like I have to apologise to him later.' The lead guitarist shrugged, looking at the closed door of Ryan's room.

'I thought he is over with that already.' The drummer closed his laptop and let out a big yawn because of tiredness. It was a long concert after all.
