Take A Trip Down Memory Lane [Chapter 5]

It felt like hours passed before Luke barged through the door, but it was really only 2 minutes, he didn’t say anything to me but just pushed passed me into Beaus room, he wasn’t there, he ran into his room and opened a book from his bookshelf, and inside all the pages had a square in the middle, and the square was empty, “fuck” he mumbled under his breath, he pulled out his phone a tapped away quickly before placing it to his ear, I just stood at the door watching his every move, he sat down on his bed before sending me a slight smile,

“everything’s gone, every last cent” Luke said down the phone, I cringed at the worry in his voice, it was all my fault this happened, tears fell down my face, I don’t even know why it happened, there was just so much going through my head, where was Beau?

“Stay safe, okay? See you soon” Luke said worriedly down the phone, before hanging up the call, he put his head in his hands and let a deep sigh, I walked in and sat down next to him making myself visible to him, he mumbled something under his breath but I couldn’t hear him, “pardon?” I said softly, his head shot up out of his head looking at me intensely,

“Why did you leave him for a stupid job Sky?” he screamed at me, why did I leave Beau for a job that didn’t even work out for me? I was so stupid, what kind of person does this, I didn’t even call to check up on him, I screwed up, big time.

“I was stupid” I breathed quietly but loud enough for him to hear, he shook his head and let out a little laugh, but it wasnt a happy one.

“you sure as hell were” he simply said walking off and out of the room, those words took a while to take in but really did hurt, I flopped back onto Luke’s bed, and bits and pieces started to play back in my mind.

‘The sunlight shone through the black curtains that outlined the windows in the room, I felt an arm lay on my waist and a body to close for comfort, I shifted my body around to see a sleeping boy, he had brown hair, long at the front and short at the back, I cleared my throat to try and wake him up but he didn’t move, I picked up his arm and moved it when he grabbed hold of my wrist tightly and his eyes flashed open, they were a piercing green colour, his grip on my wrist loosened a little when he realised it was just me, “sorry”, I said softly, “oh hey, morning” he said in a raspy morning voice, his eyes still trying to adjust to the light. I looked him up and down, his bronze torso was exposed and only boxers covered him, there was a knock at the door before it slowly opened, “morning sk-, Beau what are you doing!?” Luke yelled, my cheeks burned red, “hot girl in my bed, what was I suppose to do?” the boy with green eyes said, Luke rolled his eyes and left the room, “im Beau” he bit his lip, “im Skyla” ‘

I smiled at the thought of when I first met Beau, he looked so beautiful, his eyes glittered in the light, he exposed tanned chest, when it happened I didn’t think of it all like this, but I still remember it like it was yesterday,

‘A soft sponge like pair of lips planted a kiss on my nose; I laid there for a while. Luke just kissed my nose, how adorable, I fluttered my eyes open, “sorry for waking you” a raspy voice spoke, it was Beau who happened to look a little pink in the face, I was completely confused but smiled anyways.’

The first time I thought Luke kissed me, well not really kissed me, but you get what I mean,  but it turned out to be Beau, it’s funny cause I don’t know why I thought it was Luke because I was in Beau’s bed, but I wonder why Beau did it.

‘ “oh hi Daniel” the women yelled out, I think she thought I was ‘Daniel’ she must have heard the creak down the steps, Beau scratched his neck awkwardly, and said “its not Skip, its Skyla mum” I tensed up, but kept walking towards the kitchen were I saw Beau standing, “hi Mrs.Brooks” I said softly, her long black hair dropped down her back, curls at the bottom of each piece of hair, she looked just like her 3 sons, I smiled. She looked me up and down a couple of times before turning to Beau, “I like her Beau, she’s pretty & polite, she’s a keeper” she said smiling.’

The first time I met Gina, and surprisingly enough Beau introduced me to her, she talked like she already knew me and Beau where together, ill never forget when she found out I was basically going out with Luke, she looked so shocked, and when she accepted me into their home, was one of the greatest things that have ever happened in my life. I wish Beau was still like the way he was a couple of years ago.

‘ “what the fuck Skyla” Beau yelled at me as I entered his room, “im sorry” I said weakly going to sit next to him, “no, don’t sit next to me” he yelled at me again, “Beau, I said im sorry , okay?” I raised my voice a little to get my point across, “no, just fuck off” he screamed at me, a few tears started rolling down my face, why was he being like this?’

Mine and Beau’s first fight then flashed through my mind, he was just as arrogant as before, I thought long and hard of what happened the next few days after this, we were at school and he apologised to me and I just kissed him, but all my thoughts where disturbed by a scream “Luke, Sky, help!” it was Jai, I hurried to my feet and ran to the front door, Jai was on the ground and Beau was pushing down on him with full force, but I noticed he had a knife, “Beau! Get off him! Now!” I screamed running over and trying to pull him off, Jai pushed with his hands and I pulled from behind, it was seconds later Beau ended up falling off and on top of me, I felt a sharp pain go up the side of my body, just like when my dad stabbed me,

’I screamed at the pain but it was soon taken away but the pain that filled the left side of my body’

I felt Beau jump off me quickly, the room started spinning, “Sky!” Beau screamed, just like the night of the party,

‘ ”No!” I heard Beau scream before I fell to the ground, “Sky” his voice echoed through my ears, my eyes barley open’

“Don’t just fucking stand there, call 000!” Jai screamed at Beau, they both hovered over me, blackness closed in on me, I started to have double vision. My eyelids were getting heavy, I closed and opened them various times before just closing them completely, the last thing I heard was

“Sky stay with me!”
