The room is quiet. I could barely sleep with these damn lights on. So instead I kept writing on my book. I continue to write my story. I kept scribbling on the paper as if I let my mind free and translated everything on the paper. I finish off the page and as I turn to the next, I notice that I had a small portion of pages left of my book. I release a sigh. Closing the book and flicked the pen out of my hands. There booms an unpleasant buzz throughout the room. I groan and push off from the floor, away from the small white table, and head over to wash myself. A little later I change out of my white silk pajamas into my grey uniform. I push away the now unlocked door and saw the short line of students patiently waiting for the rest to arrive. I walk over to the line and wait. I keep on waiting and waiting. I eyeball the wakers and they hesitate to look back at me. I smirk at the reaction. I see a familiar face walking into the line. He has bags under his eyes and keeps blinking as if his eyes were dried up and desperately attempts to recover them. He gets in the line and has his head drooped down depressingly. Poor Jimin.

When everyone was cleared out of the bed we walked our way to the classrooms. Small groups left the line to enter in the classrooms. The line gradually grew shorter. Jimin eventually left with the group in a different classroom. When everyone was gone, it was just me, the head waker, and other wakers. We kept walking through the hallway and stopped at the dead end of the hall that stops. Not much people here know that there is a door in the end of this hall. The head waker pulls out his pass-remote. He shines the light on the white door revealing a hidden scanner that unveiled the door to open. We all enter inside and I see the white conference room. Not a very big room, but the conference was a decent size for a small meeting which we have always done everyday. There is a corridor on the other side of the room. That is the area where I do most of my work when the students are doing class.

I take my usual seat, the far back of the table near the corridor while the head waker sits over on the other side along with a couple others. I wait there awkwardly watching the wakers fidgeting. It is always like this with me and wakers. They stay quiet when I'm around. We wait until suddenly the door lets out a beep and the it opens with a whoosh. I made my eyes with the CEO, Bang Sihyuk. The man gives a warm charismatic smile to us as he usually does. He greets us with a good morning and takes his seat in between us that closes the distance between me and the few wakers.

"I've been thinking about something." He presents to us, catching our attention. Whenever he says something similar to that it is important news that he will reveal to us, "I will have someone take my place." I widen my eyes as the response to the news. "You see, my business has been shifting into something I am not proud of. I am a founder of this place yes, but my intentions have not been applied to what this facility intentionally offered."

"Bang, are you saying that there will be a new CEO to lead this company? If that's the case... is it for the better?" I ask for clarification.

"To my own selfishness, I don't believe my business has anything to offer anymore." He sighs. "It's corrupted to its very core and it's going to get corrupted until it's dust. I have nothing more to do as CEO."

I stay silent letting that information process to me. I let out a laugh, "Then you just plan leaving us and the company to its demise?"

Bang gazes his eyes away from me pitifully, "Forgive me."

That pissed me off, "Then what are we supposed to do here huh? What fuckin' point was it to hire me? You had an intention to save me, but now you are abandoning me to deal with some fuckin' lunatics that you couldn't even control?"

"It's government policy Hoseok. I have no power over the business anymore."

I threw my hands up and dropped its dead weight mockingly, "Incredible."

"I know who the new CEO will be." He brings to our attention, "I will prepare him for the responsibilities as a CEO."

I continue to laugh at this shit, "It's not like he will make any changes if you couldn't. Don't you think?"

"I have faith in him. He is intelligent and will be a great leader. He is my son so I would know." He declares. Bang never told me he had a son before which got my to raise my eyebrow.

"A son?" I ask him.

"Yes, my adopted son actually. His name is Kim Seokjin. He's not that far from your age Hoseok. You two may get along I would think."

I scoff at that comment, "I doubt it." I roll my eyes.

Bang grunts as he clears his throat, "He will be leaving a couple weeks from now. Please take care of this place the best you can for me. Take care of Seokjin for me as well." He lets me know with an assuring smile. His eyes did not express the genuine expression shown in his lonely eyes.

"I'm not gonna be responsible for anything." I spit out of irritation. Thinking he can get away with the bullshit he's trying to pull. He's not even being low profile about it. He expects people to own up his 'kindness'. I'm not gonna be a kiss ass to his lack of care just because he saved me.

"Then watch this place fall." He snaps at me. I startle from his tone of voice that is clearly upset. He gets off his seat and carries himself towards the exit. "That will be all for today gentlemen. You may start working. With that he left and the door shut closed. There was an awkward silence between me and wakers. To break it, I got out of my seat and left to go in through the corridor.

Good thing I have a plan when something like this was gonna happen.
