Key (fluff) | Shopping Buddy

Having Sunday off with Kibum was something you thought would have been relaxing; was something you thought would have been filled with snuggles, hugs, kisses, etc; but no. Today, your boyfriend was in the mood to go shopping. And no, not clothes shopping or anything decent, but grocery shopping! He just had to choose the most boring task to do out of all the possible available options. And to make things worse, you were not in the mood for anything!

You huffed in annoyance, which Key heard but didn't mind. He intertwined his fingers with yours and pulled you in closer to himself as you both entered the nearby grocery shop.

Key grabbed a shopping cart as you read the list Kibum had prepared back home. "What's first?" Kibum asked. "Pasta" you replied and he took off while he gladly hummed to himself. You shook your head at your boyfriend but followed his lead nonetheless.

Item by item you cruised through the shop and collected the needed items. As the list got shorter, your boyfriend got more and more lazier. Now it went from Kibum doing all the shopping to you doing all the reluctant shopping as he carelessly followers around. You didn't mind though, you were bound to do the shopping nonetheless whether it was taking half the responsibility or full.

You made another stop to grab the second last thing in the list: whip cream.

"Hey babe?" Kibum, your useless boyfriend spoke.

"Hm?" You replied and turned around.

Instead of replying back properly you felt Kibum spray something really cold on your face. "Ahh-" you gasped and stood still to process what just happened. Kibum's hearty laughter roared in the whole isle and you didn't move, trying to understand what was sprayed over your face, afraid of knowing what it was.

After a couple of seconds you lifted your hands and wiped the cold material from over your eyes first. At this point it started to feel sticky too. You slowly opened your eyes and witnessed Kibum standing innocently with an open bottle of whip cream

"Kibum, you did not just!" You warned with an angry tone. People walked from around and some even laughed at your appearance.

"I just did..." Kibum whispered. You clenched your jaw, feeling super, super uncomfortable.

"Take care of the cart" you said angrily but gently and walked off without a warning

"Babe—" Kibum spike but stopped upon realizing you weren't gonna stop.

As much as embarrassing it was, you mustered some courage and walked up to a staff member to ask for the restroom. The staff guided you towards the restroom and after saying your thanks you walked in and immediately got to washing the disgusting thing from off your face. It took you about five minutes to cleanse your entire face and shirt. You dried your face and walked out, making your way towards your shopping cart

As you approached your cart you witnessed a pouty Key who stood with his hands behind his back. You were angry but you were cool enough to not blow up, at least not now. "Let's go" you simply whispered but Key's voice stopped you: "babe?"

"What?" You said without meeting eyes

"Look here" you obeyed and reluctantly looked up. Kibum extended both his hands outwards and offered your favorite chocolate bar.

"Sorry..." he whispered

You weren't in no mood to accept apologies nor candies so you started walking away without responding

"Babe..?" Kibum caught up with you

"Kibum please shut up. I don't want to talk" You sternly replied to which, thankfully, he obeyed.

Throughout the whole remaining trip Kibum didn't utter a word, but you didn't fail to catch his stealing glances that spoke to you

As you guys were walking out of the last isle you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned around and saw kibum holding a teddy bear with a pout

"Sorry babe..." he apologized once again

Though you hated to admit it you were actually not mad anymore and his sweet gestures and cute pout was melting your heart. You looked at the bear and then at him a little longer before walking away once again, but this time not with anger, rather with speechlessness. You didn't know what to say at this point.

"Babe!" Key whined. You looked down a smiled a bit at his childish whine, which thankfully Kibum couldn't see.

"Babe" he tapped your shoulder again. You turned around and saw the same teddy but this time accompanied with your favorite chocolate candy. This time you couldn't help but smile at his gesture, and feeling shy all of a sudden you turned around and continued your walk towards the cash register. Kibum didn't whine nor stop you because he had gotten the hint that he was forgiven. Kibum sighed in relief upon seeing his favorite smile.

While paying for all the items Kibum slid the teddy bear and the candy car as well which the registrar gladly rung up. After playing you both walked out of the grocery shop

"So am I forgiven?" Key asked with hope

"Maybe" You joked

"Babe!!!" He whined once again and plastered on a pout. You giggled and wrapped a hand around his arm to let him know he was forgiven. Key got the hint and smiled in relief

"That was funny though..." he admitted

"Kibum!" You warned and Key broke out into a hearty laughter. You couldn't help but laugh along as well to today's incident

"I guess it was funny" you admitted and continued the walk towards the car as you tightened your grip around Key's arm.
