(Present Time)

Luna's POV:

As Emilo and I step into the house, he turns around so his back is facing me. I notice something on the back of his arm and neck, like a bruise. I run over to him and pull his arm checking it then look closely at his neck and I was correct, they were bruises.

"E-Emilio..you got hurt!" I say with worry filling my tone. "It's okay I'm alright, Luna. These don't hurt." He says.

"No way, they look really bad!" I frown. "They do hurt a little, but I'm fine it's not like I haven't gotten a bruise before."

No shit, Sherlock. Of course they hurt.

"Ok no you are coming with me I'm gonna put some painkiller cream on it because they look extremely bad and-" He cuts me off by fully turning around and facing me, looking me straight in the eye which causes me to shut up.

Yea Luna he's right shut the hell up you're so annoying.

Shut up.

But you are.

OKAY I KNOW SHUT UP.

"Go check on Kaitlyn, she needs you more than I do. Don't you think?" He says in a serious tone, like he's irritated. God Luna how irritating can you be.

"Okay but when I come back I will be taking care of those." I say pointing my fingers at his bruises then go upstairs to Dylan's room. I knock on the door then open it to find Kait sitting at the corner of Dylan's bed, crossing her legs and looking at a corner with a blank face expression.

"Kait?" I say snapping her out of her thoughts. She just looks at me with her puffy red eyes then looks down at her wrists that were covered up with her long-sleeved sweater. I walk up to her and sit in front of her smiling helplessly.

"Are you alright?" I ask. "I guess..but I am confused about certain things," She informs.

"Like what? I can help you clear your mind off of a few things, maybe it'll help you?" I ask hoping it would comfort her. "Dylan." Is all she says.

"What's wrong with him?"

"N-nothing..he just got hurt because of me."

"Not because of you Kait, you weren't the one that punched him now were you?"

"But he got punched trying to protect me..so was Emilio."

"Come on, Kait. You know they would do anything to protect you from anything hurting you and so would I, you're like our sister. Now tell me, is anything else concerning you?"

"Ye-..no."

Ye-..no?

She's lying. She definitely is. I can see it in her face. I mean, come on. We aren't friends for 8 years for nothing am I right? I know how she looks like when she lies.

"Kait." I say making her eyes shift upwards to meet mine. I look at her raising an eyebrow. It's like I'm communicating with her using my eyes. She knows what that look means.

"Dylan said he likes me." She says looking back down. I almost choke..on nothing. What do you mean nothing you have saliva you idiot. My eyes widen out of shock. I'm not mad I'm just shocked, because its Dylan.

"When?" I ask calmly trying not to reveal my inner happy dance. Yes, I am happy because for one reason or another, I used to imagine them being a couple back in middle school. "When he came to tell me that dad has left, I realised he had a black eye and a bruised arm. I was blaming myself for it and he kept denying it until he screamed it in my face that its not my fault he loves me." She explained.

"But didn't you have a crush on him when we were like 15?" I asked. "Lu that was two years ago," She replied.

"Bullshit! No one gets over a crush in two years!" I say. She rolls her eyes.

"No but seriously what do you think?" I ask. "I don't know," She replies. "He's really sweet, and I remember why I was crushing on him. But I just don't know..he's more like a brother to me now."

Ouch. She already put him in the brother zone.

"I'll leave you now, just to get things off of your mind. Get some sleep, it looks like you haven't slept in ages." I state before leaving her alone in the room. I get downstairs and see that Dylan has already arrived and is putting the McDonald's that he got us in the kitchen.

"Oh hey Lulu" Dylan greets. I walk downstairs and give him a hug, because I felt like it. "Are you alright?" I ask him since his eye looks pretty bad. "Yea, it doesn't really hurt now." He says.

I look around, Emilio isn't here. He must've left.

"Where's Emilio?" I ask. "He just left," Dylan replies. "Oh." was all I responded with.

I grab my phone and see that there are a ton of messages from a lot of people, but one caught my eye. It was Bryan. How does he have my number?

Mr. Anderson:
