As soon as her alarm went off, Annabeth jumped out of her bed and grabbed her orange camp shirt off of the ever growing laundry pile in the corner of Cabin Six.
She quickly brushed her hair and teeth, then grabbed her runners from under her bed, carful not to wake her brother Malcom who was sleeping on the top bunk.
Annabeth then quietly slips out the door, making sure to close it behind her.
As she's walking to Percy's Cabin, Annabeth notices that there is a dark storm cloud over camp. I wonder if it's going to rain? Annabeth thinks to herself walking. Don't be stupid. She chides herself. The border prevents it from raining inside camp. But she couldn't shake the feeling something terrible
was about to happen.
