George William Fredrick

After Sam hung up, I felt a bit hurt. I didn't mean to upset him.. I just..

I sighed, leaning back against my fine imported pillows. The sound of his sad voice rung through my ears again, making me feel worse. "The poor boy.. I wish I could've kept my mouth shut.."

I ended up falling asleep with Sam on my mind.

The next morning, I was awoken my Sara. "You said I could pick out your outfit, so get up and lets go!" She said as she tied the curtains, letting sunlight into the room. I groaned and hid under the sheets. "I don't want to go.." I whined. She came over and pulled them off of me. "Well, you're going, so, come on, George." She said and exited the room. I groaned and sluggishly climbed out of bed, heading to the bathroom.

After breakfast, Sara hastily pulled me into the dressing room. "Alright, first of all, no crown, no cape, no fancy stuff! You're wearing skinny jeans!" She threw a pair at my face. I held up the fabric, eyeing it. "Are you serious?"

"Yes. Put them on or I'll do it for you."

I sighed and put them on, struggling at their tight fit but when I looked in the mirror, they hugged my figure perfectly. "Maybe this won't be so bad.." I said, looking at myself. "Told ya, now here." She handed me a shirt and I got to dressing.

———

Sara had just finished doing my hair and putting a jacket on me. "And look!" I looked in the mirror, eyes wide.

I smiled and gave a little twirl. "Great job, Sara!! I look like a normal peasant.." Sara rolled her eyes and chuckled. "Thanks and go so you don't be late! Make a friend or two!" She said as I waved and left the room. 'Oh, right! I forgot to tell her about Sam! ....Is Sam even my friend now? I've only known him for a day and I've already fucked up..' I thought with sigh and went downstairs to the limo.

Once I got to school, more kids were staring at me even though they seen me yesterday. It must've been because of this makeover which I love a lot. I went looking for Sam, hoping to find him so I can apologize. I walked through the hallway, running a hand through my hair, thinking of where he could be. The bell hadn't rung yet so he must be around here somewhere. Suddenly, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I turn around and came face to face with a dark skinned boy with short curly hair and a pastel pink sweater. He had a grin on his face and was holding a book. "You're George, right?" He asked. I nodded. "Yes and you are?"

"James Madison, one of Samuel's friends! I've been dying to meet you!" James said, giggling. It kinda scared me but, he seemed nice. "Well, nice to meet you James. Any friend of Sam's is a friend of mine." I said, giving him a small smile. "Hm, charming! And might I add, you look way better in these clothes than your other ones." James said, chuckling. I didn't know whether to me offended or take that as a compliment. When he noticed I didn't say anything, he spoke. "It seems like you're looking for Sam, correct? Maybe he'll actually talk to you.. He wont talk to me or Peggy so.. can you help?"

I cringed and bit my lip. "I think I'll only make it worse.." James frowned and tilted his head. "What do you mean by that? You didn't do anything did you..?" I didn't say anything and looked at the floor. Suddenly, I was forced up against a locker with an angry James holding my shirt, tightly. "I swear to god, if you hurt him, I'll kick your ass. And that's a promise. Now, tell me what you did." He hissed, glaring at me. God, he's terrifying-

"I-I upset him! Thats all! I asked him if he considered that Charles was cheating! That is all! Please p-put me down..!!" I squeaked, cringing internally from how wimpy I sounded. He let me go and stepped back, crossing his arms. I shakily looked at him. He grunted and sighed. "I.. suppose that's fine.. I still want to punch you but, I consider that.." He closed his eyes for a moment then opened them. "He's in the library.. you should go apologize before school starts.."

I nodded, fixing my shirt. "T-thanks.. bye, James.."

"See ya." And with that, I was off to find Samuel.
