Samuel Seabury

———

I raced out of the room, crying, tears blurring my vision. I heard the voice of John yelling at Alex. I heard the sound of my steps, echoing throughout the hallway.

Not caring, I ran out to the courtyard, slamming the door open. I raced to one of the benches and pulled my knees to my chest, sobbing. I didn't hear anyone coming after me which didn't surprise me at all..

'What did I ever do to Alex besides disagree...? I never did anything to him.. why does he hate me so much..?" I thought sadly and wiped my face with my sleeve, trying to stop the tears but they kept coming. I choked out a loud sob as I felt be back ache from when Alex pushed me off the podium. That j-jerk...

Suddenly, I heard footsteps. I didn't bother to stop sobbing, figuring that the person was most likely going to walk past me anyways. But, they didn't. "Oh my..! Sam? Samuel, are you alright..?" A kinda familiar voice rang out. I looked up and was once again met with the ocean blue eyes from earlier. "O-oh..! I-I'm f-fine..! Don't worry about me..! You should be in class.. it being your first day and all..!" I sniffled out, wiping my face again. He came closer and sat next to me, looking into my eyes. "You certainly are nowhere near fine, Samuel. What's the matter?" He asked, concern on his face. I looked back him then down at the ground. "I-I had to debate against Alexander Hamilton.. it went terribly! He said his dog spoke more eloquently! A-and he pushed me off my podium.. and tossed my papers around the classroom.. My back hurts from the landing and he's really scary when he yells. I-I hate being yelled at..! I-It scared me so bad I ran h-here.."

Remembering it all made me start crying again. The attractive blonde frowned then cupped my cheek, wiping away my tears. "It'll be okay, Samuel. If I come across him, I'll kick his ass!" He said. That made me chuckle and blush a bit. "T-thank you.. but my friends will most likely get to him first.." I looked down and played with my sleeves. "I-I didn't catch your name, by the way.." I said, shyly. "I didn't throw it~" He replied.

I blushed more and giggled. "My name is George William Frederick the III. But, I prefer to be called King." He said with a smile that seemed.. knowing. "Wow.. what an elegant and important sounding name. W-wait.. King..?" I said, looking at him. "Do you get it?" He said, smiling more. I sat there for a moment, connecting all the pieces. "You're YourKing! Oh my lord! You're much more attractive in person!" I blurted out and quickly covered my mouth. He only laughed and pat my head. "It is alright, darling. You're much more adorable in person." He purred, smirking. My cheeks were bright red. "I-I'm not adorable..!"

"Yes, you are~!"

I shook my head and looked away. He scooted closer and cupped my cheek, making me look at him. "You're actually quite beautiful." He said. "N-no, you are..! You l-look way better than me..!" I stuttered. This got him to laugh. He leaned forward and planted a kiss on my nose which caused me to be a tomato. "I-I um..! Y-you..!" He laughed again. "You're simply adorable. I hoped this has calmed you down." I thought about it for a moment then nodded. "Y-yes.. it has.." I replied, still red in the face. "Good!" He exclaimed with a grin. Then we heard the bell ring. "You should get to class.. I have to go get my things from Washington.." I said, standing up. "I'll walk you." He- King offered.

"Alright.."

———

Once we got to the class room, my papers were still everywhere. I sighed, knowing I'd have to clean them up. King was behind me, looking around. I bent down and started picking them up, feeling tears prick at my eyes. King bent down and helped as well. "I'm sorry about this, Sam.. you didn't deserve this.." King said.

I only shrugged and stayed silent.

(Whoop! Sorry again for my lack of updates, I just have a hard time wording chapters and I want them to be lengthy and more than 300 words. Please accept this as an apology!
