After I left the group chat, my phone began to ring. At first, I just let it, thinking about what Alex had said.

'Is he telling the truth?'

'No..! Charlie would never cheat on me!!'

'Alex is.. lying..'

I snapped out of my thoughts and answered the phone, dully. "H-hello..?"

"Samuel!!"
It was George, he called.. just like he promised he would.

"Oh, h-hi George.." I said, quietly. I couldn't stop thinking about what Alexander said. "What's the matter, dear? You sound troubled." He said, his accent ringing out. "Just.. thinking about something.. You know Alexander..? The one I told you about from debate?"

"Yes, what about that idiot?"

I chuckled a little, smiling. "He.. tried to apologize. I was going to forgive him but, then he suggested my boyfriend was cheating on me.. and now I cant stop thinking about it."

George was quiet for a bit. "Oh, Seababy.. I'm sorry. But.. have you thought about it being true?"

"N-no..! Sure, he's been distant but he w-would never cheat on me..!! I refuse to believe it!" I yelled, tearing up. "SAMEUL! STOP YELLING!" I heard my father call. "S-SORRY, DAD!" I yelled back, a few tears falling down my face. "Sam.. I'm sorry.."

"I-its okay.." I sniffled. "I-I should go.."

"Sam, wait-" I hung up and put my phone down. I crawled onto my bed and laid down, crying more.

"W-what if they're right..?"
