CHAPTER 4

"Bea, meet my friend, Thirdy Ravena."

"Hi Thirdy."

Bea is the one who first extended her hand.

"Upo ka na, Thirds." Nico suggested.

The couple continued to talk to each other, while the three are in a state of awkward silence.

"So...you're a member of the volleyball team?" Thirdy hesitantly asked.

"Yep. How did you know?" Bea wondered.

"Uhm...I d-don't know. I just thought that I met you somewhere." Thirdy stuttered.

"Oh, about that. You and Dani are siblings right?"

"Yep."

"I saw you at the Eliazo when you accompanied you sister there." Bea said as she ate another slice of pizza.

"Oh right, I saw you there too." Thirdy nodded.

"Sho you are a membwer of the bashketball tweam?" Bea asked while her mouth is full of food.

"Yes. Hahaha. You shouldn't be talking when your mouth is full." Thirdy replied as he handed Bea a tissue.

"Sorry. Oh, thanks." Bea apologized as she wiped her mouth.

Thirdy couldn't just help himself but laugh at the girl sitted beside her.

"Why are you laughing?" Bea raised an eyebrow at him.

"Nothing. You're just funny and...cute." Thirdy said while avoiding Bea's gaze.

Bea felt something warm in her cheeks. Then she realized that she was blushing.

"T-thanks? But what I did was a bit gross." Bea giggled.

"It doesn't look gross to me." Thirdy shrugged.

The two suddenly became comfortable with one another.

"I thought hindi na ako thirdwheel ngayon. Oo pa rin pala." Deanna mumbled.

"Ang malala, fifthwheel pa." She continued.

"So...mag-isa ka lang Thirds?" Nico asked.

They were roaming around the mall after eating in Shakey's.

"Well, kanina hindi. I was with Kiefer and Alyssa. Thirdwheel ako kaya humiwalay na ako." Thirdy explained.

"Ohhh. Kaya pala nagkasundo agad kayo ni Bea." Nico teased.

"Thirdwheel ka rin pala?" Thirdy suprisingly asked.

"Yep. Kami ni Deanna." Bea laughed.

"So you don't have a boyfriend Bea? Sa ganda mong yan?" Thirdy wondered.

"Tsss." Deanna couldn't help herself but roll her eyes.

"Wala eh. Studies first." Bea shrugged.

"Luigi!!!" Deanna screamed as she saw her bestfriend.

"Deanna! I missed you!" Luigi approached Deanna as they formed a hug.

"Hi guys!" Luigi greeted every one else.

"Ayun, may kasama ka na Deanna!" Jho laughed.

"Sama na ako sayo Luigi, wala akong kausap eh."

"I'm going to find a gift for my mom. Tara?" Luigi invited.

"Sure!"

"Guys punta lang kaming department store ah. Let's see each other at 8pm?" Jho asked.

"Yep. 3 hours is enough to catch up with this guy." Deanna agreed as she looked at Luigi.
