Chapter 9: Time With Ellie

Emizz's P.O.V.

It's already 12 in the midnight and I can't even make a sleep. Hindi ko alam kung bakit. Sa dinami-dami ba namang nangyari kanina, siguradong hinding-hindi ka dadalawin ng antok. I can't stop thinking about what happened earlier.

That basketball player from the other school, Dandreb Lim. Kilalang-kilala siya ng mga estudyante sa Jhensen. He is not that popular, but the fact that he is one of the basketball player, the varsity of the rival school, and the rumours that he got his own business in his young age makes his name become popular.

Hindi talaga ako makapaniwalang bibisita siya sa school para lang sa akin. I'm not that special though. Emizz Esor Elizalde is not that special, Crap Emizz is. He even told that he read my books, and wished that someday he will meet such author. Alam kong Over-acting na ako dito but god, it's Dandreb Lim and he is asking me for a dinner.

Next is Lee Ron Jhensen. The fact that he is a Jhensen, I can't help but to smile whenever he runs in my mind. I don't know why but he always take my kind of a perfect man. He is too kind, gentle, and that smile. The smile that no one ever have. May something kasi sa mga ngiting iyon. Na kapag nakita mo na, nawawala na ang masamang aurang nakapalibot sayo at namamalayan mo na lang na napapangiti ka na rin nang dahil sa ngiting iyon. He is a Jhensen but my ideal kind of Jhensen instead.

And lastly, Ellie Madrid Jhensen. That jerk. I don't know why but he always keep on running in my mind. He always that stubborn but this past few days, I can't read him. Ano itong pinagsasabi niya?

"I got your number to Tap. Kanina pa kami nag-aalala sa iyo. So I decided to cut my class just to find you and there, I saw you in the comfort room being messed with that girl. "

" But you are different from them. "

"Emizz will be my date."

" I know you can do better than her... Emizz!"

"She's with me. "

Napailing na lang ako nang dahil sa mga naiisip ko. Where did the real Ellie go? He will never be that gentle though, and more even not that proud to be my date. Urghhhhh!

Isa pa sa problema ko ay ang abnormal na pagdabog ng puso ko kapag naririnig ko ang pangalan niya. I hate it. I really hate it. Parang mamamatay na ako at hindi ako makagalaw ng maayos sa tuwing nararamdaman ko iyon. If this is what they call affection, well this is not right. Ellie Madrid Jhensen is a curse of my life.

Pumunta ako sa veranda ng aming bahay para magpahangin. I really wanted the cold breeze here. Sa tuwing may iniisip ako o malungkot ako, dito ako namamalagi.

"Hindi ka makatulog?" I heard a voice behind me kaya hinarap ko ito. It's Bielle as usual. Isa pa ito, bakit hindi niya na lang ako tantaman nang makapamubay ako ng matiwasay dito.

" And so are you? " tipid kong sagot. Nagpatuloy lang ako ng paglinga-linga sa paligid ng aming bahay nang mapansin kong lumapit siya sa akin. Ilang minuto pa ang lumipas nang basagin niya ang katahimikan.

" Don't you know why I came here at the Philippines without a doubt?" wala sa kawalang tanong niya. Tinignan ko siya habang bahagyang kumunot ang noo ko sa tanong niya pero hindi ko siya sinagot kung bakit. " It's because of Ellie Madrid Jhensen. "

Sa ngayon mas kumunot na naman ang noo ko. Ellie Madrid Jhensen. I didn't know na sikat pala siya. Well, sikat siya sa school namin dahil nga basketball player and the fact na president's son siya.

"What's the point?" I asked.

"Everyone knows that Ellie is a varsity player and everything but no one knows that the Jhensen boy is making his name to the entertainment industry. " pagpapaliwanag niya. What's the point again? Tinignan ko na lang ulit siya at ngumiti siya ng kaunti. " He once became an internet sensation. Not here in the Philippines but in the other country. I started to admire him a year ago but never talked to him even though he is starting to work with the same company as mine. "
