Angels on high rejoice, for the demon of Wallachia is dead. My King, the Voivode Vlad III has kill'd himself. My own eyes have seen him take his final breath, as the High Gypsy was command'd to slice open the Prince's throat during their ceremony this night, spilling his blood onto the artifacts from the rumor'd land across the sea.
His forces are with us. They are sending differing reports to secure the Prince's good name and expunge any sense of obvious mental frailty. But you may be assured of his demise. Any report stating otherwise is false.
There are fellows in his own camp who want to sever his head and deliver it to his enemies in Bulgaria, thinking only of reward. I am guarding over his body until we return to his land holdings in the foothills of the Transylvania Alps and to the haunting castle where he is to be interred.
