recap:

10 MINS BEFORE SHOWTIME

Despite the fact that I was about to go on stage in front of an audience filled with family members, friends, and some very competitive girls, I was comfortable. It probably had to do with the fact that I was in my usual everyday outfit being a pair of gym leggings, a high impact sports bra, and my favourite Nikes.

Instead of filming at The Hub, we were filming in a mini theatre room that the hotel had let us rent out. I peaked out of the side of the stage and saw that the audience was quite full. My heart sank when I saw Alicia and Stacey strut their way down the middle and kick two teenage girls out from the front row. I rolled my eyes before walk backstage.

Marcus and Noah appeared all dressed up in their black and white Tuxedo's looking fine. Noah raised a curious eyebrow at my outfit but of course, didn't say anything in front of everyone. It was understandable though, everyone else was glammed up in dresses, leotards, ball gowns and tutus. Some girls even questioned if I was doing anything tonight.

"Gather around girls, it's showtime!" Marcus yelled.

SHOWTIME

I watched my step-sister fling her body around a silver pole that stood proudly in the middle of the stage. It was a good thing I didn't go ahead with Jordan's first suggestion to pole dance because that was Bianca's talent. Not going to lie though, she knew how to pole dance. I could hear Alicia and Stacey cheer quite obnoxiously from the crowd as she lifted her body up in the air again from just her arms before landing gracefully on the ground in her eight-inch heels as the music stopped.

The audience clapped and cheered politely as Marcus introduced the next girl on stage. Me.

The curtains were drawn shut and I was fitted up with an invisible microphone that wrapped around my head and rested at my lips and the pack was strapped underneath my sports bra as I had requested from the tech guys earlier.

Once I got the thumbs up from Charlie I stepped up on stage with my heart pounding furiously before the curtains were opened wide.

I smiled as nicely as I could without looking like I was in pain, I could see the confusion on their faces "As Marcus said, my names Taylor, now don't fear I'm not a personal trainer so you won't have to get up and exercise along with me," I joked. The audience laughed at that which made it easier to keep going. I couldn't help but notice the glares I was getting from Alicia and Stacey in the first row.

"Now, I'm going to have to bring Marcus and Noah back on stage for this act," I grinned a little wickedly, "They didn't know they would be part of this act so I'll go easy on them," I promised the audience as I gestured for them to come out from behind the side curtains.

They both looked so confused as they walked out to the laughing audience.

"Now this is particularly for the ladies, I want to show you a few tips and tricks on how to keep yourself safe if you ever end up in a tricky situation."

I looked at Marcus, and I couldn't help laugh at his worried face, "Marcus, can you come here for me?" I asked extra sweetly. He walks out in front of me and I exaggerate looking him up and down before turning back to the audience.

"I think these boys will need as much as they can get, Jordan will you please bring out the gear?" I say through the microphone.

Jordan comes out from behind the curtain laughing while carrying protective gear. I suit Marcus up with a full face helmet and padded body suit. The audience couldn't help but laugh as we suited him as he looked pretty ridiculous.
