Garter Toss

Note: A Garter is a band that goes around the bride’s thigh. A Garter Toss is when, after the ceremony, the bride sits down and her husband goes under her dress to remove the garter with his teeth. He then throws it back to the male guests (just like a bouquet toss for women), and the one to catch it is supposedly the next to be married.  (I didn’t really like how this one turned out, but, as promised…)

Liam: The embarrassment was evident in both of you when you realized why you were called to the middle of the dance floor. As the DJ announced the garter toss, the boys pulled up a chair. Liam looked around, his face at least 3 shades redder, before kneeling in front of you. Your husbands head went under your dress and you blushed furiously. Your face dropped to your hands as he slid the garter down your thigh with his teeth, crawling out from under your dress. When he threw back the lace band, Niall caught it, and cheers were heard throughout the large crowd. 

Harry: You had agreed to a garter toss at the wedding, and Harry was more than thrilled. When you sat down, he immediately got down on his knees, lifting your dress enough for him to get under. He trailed kisses up your leg, before tugging on the band that was wrapped around your thigh. He came out with the garter still between his teeth. He bowed, a round of applause coming from your guests, before he threw your garter towards the male guests. And of course, the lucky man to catch the garter, was Louis.

Zayn: Zayn hadn’t told you about his plans to have a garter toss. You were greeting a few guests when you heard the DJ call you to the dance floor. Was it already time for you and Zayn to dance? It couldn’t be. Once you’d made your way through the crowd, Zayn was waiting for you, along with a single chair next to him. You could feel your cheeks getting red when he grabbed your hand and sat you down. You couldn’t hold back your laughter when he went under your dress. His teeth skimmed your thigh around the garter before dragging it down, taking his time. He crawled out from under the dress, smiling at your embarrassed expression, before throwing the garter back. It landed in Liam’s hands, his cheeks turning a bright red.

Niall: Greg and your maid-of-honor had decided to take it upon themselves to plan a garter toss at the wedding party. You and Niall were off talking to guests, thanking them for their presence, when you heard your best friend’s voice on the speakers. “Will the bride and groom please make their way to the dance floor?” You and Niall exchanged confused looks before walking through the crowd that had formed around the dance floor. You were met with a chair and a smirking Greg. He was holding a microphone, and he announced “Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s time for the garter toss.” You turned a bright pink, and Niall was trying not to laugh, as he pulled you towards the chair. You sat down, and at this point, you were laughing too, but mostly out of embarrassment. He left sloppy kisses around the band, before his teeth slid across your thigh, pulling it down slowly. Instead of throwing it back, as per tradition, he pulled it back like slingshot, and it flew towards the boys. Zayn caught it right before it could hit his eye. “Congratulations to the next 1D boy to be officially off the market!” You shouted jokingly.

Louis: You had both decided to have a garter toss at the wedding, and you thought it would be fun. When the DJ called you both up, the chair was waiting, and your friend’s were all trying to hold back their imminent laughter. They couldn’t have expected any less from Louis and (Y/N). Anyways, you had decided to make a joke of the experience, and, while the Pink Panther theme played, Louis went under your dress, cheekily leaving kisses up your thigh, before gripping the band with his teeth. He came up twirling the garter around his index finger, before flinging it back. Of course, Harry would be the one to catch your garter.
