Error Code 404 OVA

"..."

"Whenever you mentioned to Saeyoung about your email not working and you not being able to answer guests, did he care? No. He kept working on defusing the bomb. No one there cares. You are Rika's replacement for now. All are were there to do is to do what Rika's did. Follow her legacy, not make your own. Even precious Yoosung mistook you for her. You were nothing but a replacement, like when a kid breaks a toy and mommy buys a new one. The kid never knows the difference." His voice was deep and resident. His words echoed through my brain.

"..." I couldn't say anything.

Was it true? Was what he was saying true?

"That won't happen if you join magenta. Imagine being able to help make people happy. Feel no other emotion but happiness. Where people can make their own impact on the world, make their own legacy. What do you say?" He asked as he circled me. He was like a gnat. Circling my head, getting under my skin, slowly taking away my sanity.

"..."

"Join me, I'll be good to you. Better than him, better than any of them. We can work together, we can get our revenge on the people that hurt us the most. All you have to do is say yes."

"Is it really paradise?"

"Of course. It is a place where everyone can be happy, a place for people like you and me. A place for people to take refuge when the world goes against them."

"I.....I." All I had to do was say yes. All the things he was saying were logical, they did make scene. Seven only came running when the system started to glitch and it was obvious. When I had told him about the glitches and the random messages I would hear he didn't do anything. When he saw that I was put in danger he did not try to save me. He fake only when the the special security system stopped working. He never cared about me. All the times I had tried to talk to him he shook me off. He was like everyone else in my life. Here one minute, gone the next.

"You're like me. You want to help others not have to go through the suffering you went through, right?"

Right

"You want to protect people from the sadness and lonlyness you know all too well, right?"

Right

"You want people to be happy, right?"

Right...

"All you have to do is say yes and you can do all of that and more. You can get revenge on theose who betrayed and hurt you. To protect people from others who threaten their happiness. Just say yes..."  He was right about everything... Maybe I was on the wrong side this whole time.

"What's your answer?" He whispered in my ear sending chills down my spine.

"I...I......"

"I accept."

"Perfect..." He said. Suddenly I felt something hit me over the head. I fell to the ground, my vision blurring. "Don't worry... I'll take good care of you..."

I hope you enjoyed the first part of Error Code 404's OVA. For those of you who don't know Error Code 404 was inspired by a bunch of One-Shots I had written about Mystic Messenger. This is the first part of what inspired the second part of Error Code 404. This is [technically] Saeyoung x Reader. Because this is slightly old and my writing style has changed some things will be different, for example, the way the chatrooms are set up, though I hope you enjoyed it none the less. I will be releasing 3 (possibly) more parts to this so stay tuned.

For those of you who read Mint Green With Envy the next update will be this weekend. (I have 2 essays due by Friday along with 2 tests and a project... stupid school)
